Thank you Francis and Misty for making my lease trade in a breeze. I was back and forth between cars for a while and Francis did the best job in getting me where I needed to be to get into a brand new Tiguan. Then whole buying experience was quick. Once we got the numbers where I wanted, all by text at that, I was in and out in under 2 hours! James in finance also helped educate me on added products for my car. Definitely recommend Francis for you car buying experience!

We had a wonderful experience in the purchase of a used 2015 Mustang GT from Tony Nissan. From start to finish, we received excellent communication and customer service. In January, I was called to get safety inspection at Tony...

In January, I was called to get safety inspection at Tony VW but when I got there, they said I wasn't supposed to be there. In March during my vacation, I set one day to get my car checked out (visor, screeching sound, and stalling). When I got to Tony VW, I was told the moment I got there that they don't service those things because they don't have the device to see what's wrong. I started calling jeep companies to get an appointment. Then because they all seemed weeks away, I asked to speak to manager. I waited almost two hours and I was very upset because I didn't and don't have too much free time. Damon told me that workers don't look at who's coming in until the day before. I wish they look at it when they first knew of it since tony honda did speak to tony VW mechanics about it. I feel this could've been prevented earlier. However, as of yesterday, my visor was fixed by windward dodge and they got me a rental car for next week when they fix my alternator. I did get upset because when they told me they didn't have a device to check the problems, I feel they didn't thoroughly check it out before I bought the jeep too. The jeep was jerking from the first week but we all thought it was part of the energy saving device. I'm happier now that I don't need to worry about my visor falling.

Aloha Kim, In your initial email you put down that you preferred to be contacted via text so I did that. I don't have any issues responding here to make it easier on you, that way you don't have to cut and paste etc... In our defense, and just to summarize here is the timeline of events: We did an inspection in the middle of December on a 2018 Jeep with 9910 miles. At the time of the inspection we had no issues and everything went through just fine. We drove the vehicle and had no issues with it stalling etc... At the end of December you purchased this vehicle, I will use quotes which I copied and pasted from your previous post to make sure I don't get anything mixed up: "Then, I never put the visor down because I can't see with it down In January, it kept falling down while I drove. I reported it. In January, the screeching sound Of brakes got louder and louder too. I reported that." I'm not sure who that was reported to but it was not us here at the Tony Volkswagen service department. I think that is important to note because you are posting a review about us for a concern that we knew nothing about. If it was reported to us we would have let you know that it was under warranty and would be covered by the manufacturer. Next quote as follows: "Then, once in February and twice in March, the jeep stalled. It was at a complete stop and wouldn't go back on. First time I was in busy traffic and cars were honking. It took many tries and a few minutes before car could start again." This is the review, as well as our phone conversation on Tuesday where you mentioned it first happened in February, that led me to believe the issue started after 2 months as you purchased it in December. There were no stalling issues, per your review, until the one time it happened in February and then not again until it happened in March. As I stated in my previous response I do empathize with you and I'm sorry this has happened. As I also stated, this is not something that we could have anticipated or prevented on our end. I am glad that I was able to pull some strings and get you into Jeep the next day rather than waiting for a week. I am also glad that it happened while the vehicle is still under the basic manufacturer warranty so that, except for some of your time, the repairs are going to be at no cost to you. In January, I was called to report for safety and when I got there I was told I need paperwork. Then, during my vacation in March, I had an appointment to check my car squeaking, stalling and the visor that falls. I got there and was told immediately that they can't fix. I wish they called me before I drove there. I'm grateful for Tony Honda for checking on my Jeep's progress. Today, my jeep is still not fixed because it needs three days to fix the transmission. I cannot go without a car for three days. My visor is being fixed by Lou right now. I'm grateful for that. Thank you Damon for that connection.

With Jon Nishimura, we had the most pleasant car buying...

With Jon Nishimura, we had the most pleasant car buying experience ever. Few years ago Jon helped us purchase a VW CC and then earlier this year he helped us move into a VW Tiguan. Jon was thoughtful, listened carefully to what features we wanted in our next car, and proceeded to show us our options. He is very knowledgeable about the cars he sells and was quick to identify the differences between the different models and makes. He made the whole process so easy and fast for us. We were so impressed that when we wanted to buy our second car we went back to Jon. He showed us some of the Nissans (we did not want a second VW) he sells but, when he saw how I had done all my research on a Honda Fit, rather than talking me out of the Honda (which he does not sell), he walked me over to the Tony Honda dealer and introduced me to a Honda salesperson. I much appreciate Jon recognizing what we needed in a second car and being so straight forward and respectful our time. Big Mahalo to Jon. For sure, call ahead and take an appointment with Jon when you want to buy a car from this dealer!
