I have always been pleased with the service advice CHRIS SINCLAIR has provided me for my xc-90 and s-60 volvos. He is detailed and explains any potential service problems that may arise. I value his advice and the personal care/details he provides. The new appointment system allows me to wait for my car, as opposed to drop off and pickups. The waiting area is first class with coffee. Keep up the good work Chris and keep the appointment system in tact.

Service Dept always a pleasant experience
Pedro goes above and beyond in service. Brought car in for its oil change, but they found items that needed to be taken care of and it was covered under warranty!

Michael and John do a tremendous job at Volvo San Diego. I would highly recommend them for your service needs. They always put the customer first and insure customer satisfaction.
First encounter with service
Michael was attentive from the minute I pulled up to the service bay. He explained everything that I could expect, including how much time it would take to complete the task. I waited for the car. The work was done earlier than expected. My car had been washed and was ready for me to get in and continue with my day.
Overall very happy
Purchased a used XC 60 took her home and drove her around for a good few miles. I could not get the Start/ Stop feature to engage on the car, booked a service appointment and took her back. Turned out that the battery would not hold a charge and it was replaced. Now working the way it is supposed to work.
Beware of sales associates
My experience at Volvo San Diego was not pleasant due to one person. Before arriving to the dealership, I called to get information about the car I was interested in. The sales associate, Sergio Curiel, attended my call. However, his attitude over the phone was completely different than when I met him in person. I had never experience a salesperson with such a bad attitude. Not only was he rude to me, but he was also rude to my father. When we went to test drive the car, Sergio was silent and did not inform me about any of the car's features without me asking. He even insulted one of the features saying it was mediocre. Despite having good credit and money to purchase the car that same day, Sergio told me to not buy the car in a very rude manner and that I should look for other car brands. I do not understand how a salesperson lets a potential customer go like that. I left the dealership but came back later in the day so another sales associate could help me. Thankfully, I was attended by Grant who was super helpful and even offered other payment options that Sergio didn't. If it weren't because I was interested in that specific model I would have never stepped foot at Volvo San Diego again.
I had a terrible experience with this dealership in purchasing a new car. I only wish I had purchased somewhere else. These folks are dishonest and will lie thru their teeth.....then you get to deal with the finance lady....who is nothing but pressure, pressure, pressure. For a luxury car company....this is sure a YUGO experience! There are other Volvo options in San Diego and SoCal. You will get better, honest service from the others.
Ben Junuzovic was extremely helpful. He made sure I got the car that I wanted and always kept me updated with new offers. He was not the typical pushy sales person, which made this experience stress free and enjoyable.
