I bought a 2012 Sonata back in February of 2015. I desperately needed a new car because mine was no longer working. I went to Lia Hyundai and test drove... two cars. I believed that the Pacific Blue Sonata was the one for me. Our car salesman, Rick, went through all of the logistics and buying process with me and my parents. However, in May of 2015, I discovered that I was paying for a car that I wasn't totally in love with...therefore, I went back to Lia Hyundai and told Rick that I wanted to trade in my Sonata for a different one. I might sound crazy - but today, I traded my first Sonata in for a 2012, white Turbocharged Sonata. Rick was an excellent salesman to work with. He made sure I got the car I truly wanted and dealt with my stubbornness VERY well. I'd recommend Lia Hyundai and Rick to ANYONE looking to get into a newer, better car. I had an amazing experience between picking out cars, the buying process, the loan application, etc! They were GREAT!

I was looking for a new, small SUV. Called a made an appointment with Lisa Caputo whom I have dealt with in the past. Test drove a Kona and picked it up... the next day. Very pleasant, hassle free experience. This is my third Hyundai and I have loved all of them.
I scheduled a recall appointment two weeks out. The scheduled time was for noon. I arrived at the Service Dept at 11:45 and went to the counter. As I got... my appointment confirmed, I told the service writer that I was going to wait for the car. He informed me that the technicians go to lunch from 12-1pm and he had a busy day and that I had to drop the car off. I explained to him it was a work car and asked about what time did he think it would get fixed. He said that I would have to wait at least an hour (technicians at lunch) then it wouldn't be taken in until about 2:30. I then INFORMED HIM that I had scheduled a noon appointment? His reply was that I had to drop the car off. When I schedule an appointment for noon, then I would expect to have my car serviced at noon not 2:30. Extremely poor attitude. He then asked if I wanted to re-schedule. I replied NO, I had an appointment for noon and I will now take the car elsewhere. Unsurpassed poor customer service. Lia will not be on my list to do business with in the future.
I bought a 2011 Sonata in 2015. Low mileage and seemed liked a good deal for the price I just left a dealer (looking to trade in) to find out that it... had been in an accident before I purchased it (which had not been disclosed to me at time of purchase) which negatively affect the resell value. Had I known this before I bought this car I would not have purchased it. Unfortunately I will have to take a huge loss even though kept the car in good condition and maintained it per schedule and have low miles. I will never again shop at Lia Hyundai nor will I go to any other Lia dealership to purchace a car again. I will not recommend anyone I know to shop there as well.
I ask Rodger Tebo to make sure that the service tech to put the light control switch back to AUTO as he found it. Every time I have been there it has... been moved and not returned to the position i have it set at. He assured me he would make note of it. Once again it was not returned to the AUTO position. I brought it to Rodger's attention and he said he notated it. I said it didn't work and he asked if I didn't want the inspection done to solve the problem Not an acceptable answer to me. It is not a very difficult request to have your controls returned to the customer preference. Maybe a check list with RETURN CONTROLS to original position would help. Other than this the service has always been excellent.
