Extremely predatory car dealership. From start to finish the entire 4 hour process of buying a car with them was designed to trick me into paying for various... services that I both didn't want and didn't need. I'm just going to list a few and give you my take on why they did it this way. Everything took a very long time. This was designed to wear me down, after an hour or so they can expect most people to just start saying yes to try to move the process along. My sales person would disappear for at least 15 minutes every single time anything regarding paperwork needed to be filed. She would leave for especially long periods of time every time I said no to something she tacked on before asking me. The initial sale agreement had an additional "treatment" tacked on for something along the lines of "preserving the interior" of my car for something like the next 5 years. This car was manufactured two years ago, wouldn't the manufacturer have just applied if it really did what you claim? They offered me one dollar on my trade in. Granted it was a rusty 2004 Ford Taurus, but still that's just insulting. I had to wait like an hour to see the "finance guy" because for some reason he's the only guy actually able to sell me the car... Not sure why I spent two hours shuffling papers around with the sales associate then. Just kidding. It was so I could be pressured into paying for Crown Honda brand extended service warranties, and service packages that are all clearly ripoffs that they're hoping you won't notice because you've already been there for 2 hours and just want to get in your new car. Seriously, I picked this car because it's extremely reliable. Why would I want to pay you more than the cost of a repair that I probably won't need for the duration of the warranty? Oh yeah, because it's free money for you. Aside from trying on multiple occasions to sell me snake oil, he didn't even file my car loan information properly (One of like three things I actually need him to do). The company I went through for my car loan had very simple instructions on how to submit the paperwork to them, yet they still had to call Crown Honda several times to even submit it. Finally I got my car keys. They'd managed to tack an extra couple hundred bucks over the listing price, but at that point I didn't care. I wanted my car and I could see the end of this customer experience nightmare. I left and returned to pick up the Taurus. It was finally over. But it wasn't! Every couple of weeks or so I get official looking mail saying my warranty is about to expire, this is my last warning, etc. They either look like they're from the US government or from Honda, they aren't and they don't explicitly say it, but they're clearly aping the styles of the two entities. How'd these grifters get my mailing address? Hmm... It's anyone's guess. Here's the funniest part. I wanted to like this place. I was excited to buy the car. I'd done a bunch of research and this checked everything for year, model, color, and price point. I was also excited that I could go to the same place for service that I purchased the car at. That should be a convenient way to ensure high quality continuity of service. If they had done nothing but sell me the car, I would have been a happy customer that would return for service over and over again. They won't get any more of my business. I hope you can find a better dealer.

On 9/28/19 requested info on a 2019 Honda Passport EX-L 4dr All-wheel Drive, Stock Number: KB027789 based on advertised price on Car.com of $28,638...a... price too good to be true with an MSRP of $38,310. Called the dealership on 9/30 and spoke with Eve Jean and asked for the out the door price. Received this via email: “Your out the door numbers would be 38,000.00 per my manager Mark Clayton.” The Passport was changed to “Not Priced” on Cars.com but was still on dealership website. Replied via email about the price disparity but received no reply. Eva Jean ghosted me. 10/1, Passport was posted on Cars.com again at $28,368 but was not on the deal’s website. Called the dealership on 10/2, asked for Eve but spoke with Lindsey. After a long hold, she explained that the posting was in error and mistakes happen. The vehicle is still listed on Cars.com at $28,368 as I write this review. Bottom line: this dealership lists cars online that they don’t have at prices they never intend to honor.

Made Mistakes that could not correct. Waited weeks for registration and contract number from Honda. After calling multiple times to Honda Leasing Headquarters... and Crown in Greensboro and could find out nothing. Finally was transferred to someone in Title Dept. and they had never received my paper work. I them am told by the person who did my paper work that it was not accepted at Honda and I would have to come in an resign the contract, but could not do that for several days until accounting closed out September. I not sure that all of these was not lies or careless mistakes. I had leased 3 Honda's before this and had never had such poor service with any dealership as I had with Crown of Greensboro and this financial officer.

These guys can't get their story right. An internet search showed a new Vehicle at a great discount. Emailed them in regards to this vehicle and was emailed... an internet pricing and confirmation of the vehicle at the lot. They emailed me an appointment time to come in and purchase the vehicle. Drove from Raleigh to Greensboro only to hear three different stories. Salesman claimed the vehicle was still to be inspected. Manager claims the vehicle does not exist. Online agent says the vehichle is at another dealer. Bait and switch
Bought new CRV with crown Greensboro, took it to be fix with some issues 3 days after buying it and a service recall. I live 45min away so its a haul but... bough the car from reviews on their web. When leaving the car came back and the service had no record of us leaving the car, they finally did find it and brought it back with it now cleaned which I have life time free washes and had requested it to be washed. The key flob the tech had somehow scratched it up and the window tinting wasn’t fixed that was a defect when we bought the car. They took the car back and washed it while we waiting another 30 min. They said they would order a Ned key flob and wold send someone out to fix the tinting at my home. Well I thought OK they messed up but working to fix. Then a week later got a call another recall on airbag and told me if I could bring it to be serviced they would fill up the gas for the inconvenience, OK. Took the car then they said it would take two days to fix all and gave my wife a loaner lower level CRV to drive but clean car. Once we got the car back the salesman dropped it off at our home not the service people as seem some conflict of responsibility. He arrived with the car and one scratch we advised them of not fixed and the car was dirtier than when dropped off and they had ran my personal gas out and had not added any. We called and the sales manager said to help he would send a $100 check to get the car cleaned and top off the gas, I told him thats a good jester but it wasn’t th money it was the principal of the service and how its being handled not for the 2nd time. Well we never got the $100 or any more replies and I emailed him told him if he needed the money that bad again not to for fill a commitment then just keep it. Never heard back. Yesterday I called and now they have a new service Manager and the girl I talked to was a bit snooty but I was just explaining the details of my customer experience. I explained to her I was over seas calling her and she kept asking my phone I ask do you want to call Vietnam do you know where Vietnam is in Asia, I ask do you want my email she took it after taking 10 min to dictate to her and she said she would advise the new service manager. Well I had thought in th last chance effort to save my business and keep from bad review they would send me a quick email, NOPE noting again. They service is truly made my buying expense not a pleasant one and ill be taking my new honda to other dealer for service in the future. Thanks Crown Greensboro for taking my $35,000 and forgetting the customer service afterwards. Won’t forget for the time we own the car what you have done for us, NOTHING sorry to say. Had high hopes.
