I LOVE Olathe Kia. I have a Kia Spectra5 with 310,000 miles on it. The service dept (Ryon McKinnon) is top notch, extremely helpful, always has my best... interest. I recently purchased a 2020 Soul from Jason LaMotta. Jason was an excellent saleman, answered all my questions, wasn't pushy, made the entire car buying experience fun!

When heading out to buy a car you want it to be by choice. Unfortunately this was not the case for my family. We needed a car fairly quickly and we had... very strict financial guidelines. With these guidelines we were fully prepared to hear 'no' a lot before we heard a yes! We stopped in to Olathe Kia and John Bartocci was so helpful. He listened to exactly what I was looking for and instead of telling me what I wanted he helped me narrow down my choices. We test drove the Soul and even though it didn't have the space I needed I did learn about all of the amazing features that came standard on all of the Kia's. WOW! After that, every (NON Kia) car I drove just didn't seem to be good enough. Neither did the dealerships as a whole. The entire dealership had a very friendly, family feel to it. I was in no way uncomfortable or frustrated at any moment, which happens a lot while car shopping. We struck up friendly conversation and fun banter with everyone while we were there. John worked very hard on finding me the Sportage in the color that I LOVE and for the exact price that we were looking to pay. They were able to give us the exact deal that we needed without the non-stop back and forth drama. We were absolutely thrilled!! When we came to pick up the Sportage John and Tony Wright made the paperwork and other details a breeze! It was truly one of the easiest car deals both my husband and myself have ever made. My 3 year old daughter was given a giant balloon, we took pictures, John had already pre-set my radio and then synced my phone. It was really like a mini celebration as opposed to a car deal. Called in to schedule an appt on 5/4, but nobody picked up and the call went to voicemail. Never heard back. Called back on 5/8 to inquire about that appt... I was hoping to get set up for this week. I was told they likely never even listened to the voicemail due to their call volume and workload. No biggie. There are other Kia dealerships in the metro. Just because they're the closest doesn't mean we have to keep getting service here...
I recently stopped by Olathe Kia to test-drive the new Stinger as the dealership had recently received it, and it is a vehicle I had been eagerly watching... and reading everything about. I had let Olathe Kia know about my interest a few months ago, as the lease on my current car was nearing its end. Jim Stalling gave me a call that the Stingers were in, and he and I had a great discussion about the new car. I test-drove both the GT and the Premium 2.0T, and Jim was knowledgeable and friendly and really did help me choose the car that best fit my wants and needs. The sales process was easy as always - this is the fourth Kia I've owned, and all have been from Olathe Kia as I think they are one of the better dealerships in town based on my personal experiences. I have no hesitation in recommending the Kia brand to my friends and family. This car company has come a LONG way from its "value only" name.
My Kia Rio I bought in 2013 got into a fight w/ a piece of road debris, left over from road construction, and lost. Insurance rated it a total loss and... I found myself needing a new car. I commute 45 minutes to work everyday and good gas mileage is a priority. I did my research, narrowed my preferences down to Nissan, Toyota and Kia. Test drove an Altima and a Camry, neither were bad just not quite right for me. I went to Olathe Kia and test drove an Optima and a Forte. Both felt good to me, but the real clincher for me was that for the price of a base Optima, I could get a pretty fully loaded Forte with a bit better MPG! Cruise control, rear back up camera, 7" touch screen, the color I wanted(inside and out) and power everything. My sales person Alexis took her time, let me get a good feel driving both models and didn't pressure me once to leave with a new car. The on site Finance department worked extremely fast to find a lender for me, and as a person with what I would consider mid-level credit, my rate is great. Add to that the extended 10year/100,000mile bumper to bumper warranty and handful of free oil changes, needless to say I left the lot with a brand new 2017 Kia Forte! Experience here is great and I definitely recommend that anyone needing or just looking for a new car, take the short drive down I-35 to Olathe Kia!

The finance/buying process was professional and informative. I'm glad I bought my vehicle from the dealership. My first Service appointment went very well and I was pleased with the interaction.
The whole staff there was great! Jay, who was the salesperson that I dealt with, did a great job of explaining the models that I was looking at. He did... not pressure me on any one deal. He allow me to make the right decision for me. The finance guys also did great and made it painless.
