My wife and I purchased a 2014 Toyota Tacoma this past weekend from Leith Toyota in North Raleigh. The Tacoma was purchased on a trade of my previous 2001 pickup truck that had high mileage and a need for some major mechanical and maintenance work. In short, we could not justify spending the large amount of money that would be needed for the work and decided to "draw the line" on keeping the previous pickup. Our experience at Leith Toyota was top notch, due to salesman Scott Hairr's assistance and patience as we completed 7 test drives across 5 pickup trucks (3 used and 2 new) before settling on a new Tacoma in the purchase negotiations. At no time did Scott even attempt to rush us through the process, which took most all of Saturday afternoon and early evening before we took delivery of the Tacoma. I actually asked Scott several times during the afternoon if we were taking too much of his time and whether he had any other appointments scheduled for that day. He responded each time that we were good. This Tacoma is the fourth vehicle that our family has purchased from the Leith Toyota dealership in the past six years and is the fifth Toyota vehicle that we have owned. Owning Toyota vehicles has been an overall very good experience for our family as these vehicles have been well built to provide us the transportation we need here locally as well as across far distances. As I am not a mechanic, I need reliable and durable vehicles to give me the confidence I and my family need as we come and go. Toyota vehicles have been the source of that particular confidence for us. I won't argue with anyone who says that getting a Toyota vehicle can be an expensive purchase. But I've been around long enough to know that you truly get what you pay for in your purchases. Our family is fortunate and blessed that we have been able to find a way to purchase Toyota vehicles over the course of our family life. If anyone is considering the purchase of a Toyota, I would urge them to make a visit to the Leith Toyota dealership to catch up with Scott Hairr as a part of their purchase considerations.
