    I was about to purchase a Toyota Prius from Lake Norman Toyota when I found the same car but a year newer on the cars.com website for Hendrick Toyota. I called them as I was in route to their dealership but they told me that car was just purchased, however, they had another one in the same year and they would discount that one to the same price. When I arrived they already had pulled that car around to the front. The sales rep (Jeffery) who I talked to on the phone met me at the door and showed me the car that they had told me about. I told them what I was offered at the Lake Norman store for my Cadillac. They went out and took a look at it and within 5 minutes agreed to my offer. I was purchasing this car for my teenage daughter who just turned 16. I had to get financing and the lady (Rachael) showed me my options and informed me that two credit bureau's had a 50 point difference. I found that Equifax had some inaccurate information so I was able to get that corrected. They used the correct report from Experian and I was able to get a good interest rate. All this took place in a matter of 90 minutes. I had to pick up my kids from school so I told them in the beginning that I would have to finish the deal the next day expecting this to take two or three hours. They filled the new car up with gas, detailed it and had me on the road in time to pick up my kids. I'm very good about finding the best price online so they got my attention with their price but the "process" was very easy and painless. They also threw in 6 oil changes and road side assistance. I have AAA so I don't need the roadside assistance but the 6 oil changes will save me some $$ down the road. This was my first time dealing with any Hendrick dealership and I was really impressed. The Lake Norman dealership was very nice too. They just got beat out on price.

    We had the best salesmen: Carl White! If you are looking for someone that is not pushy but cares about your child's first car and knows lots of information on cars, He is your man. We just bought our first car for our daughter from him and we will plan to return to him every time!!!! This is the 3rd car we have bought here!!!!

    I had a great car buying experience at Hendrick Toyota after having a less than ideal experience at another Charlotte-area Toyota dealership. Carl Scott was an excellent salesperson and was respectful and patience as this was my first car buying experience. Carl is trustworthy and knowledgeable and treated me like family. I would highly recommend this dealership and that car buyers work with Carl.

    Mike Sheehan provides exceptional customer service that I have not found elsewhere and is main reason I return for service on my vehicle. Mike goes extra miles to help customers by listening, and as a result Mike listens to understand, vs listening to just reply. All service personnel should emulate Mike as Mike's handling of service visit from beginning to end is thorough, detailed, and exceptional and I look forward to next maintenance visit as that welcoming smile and personable attitude make me feel welcome each and every time.

    This is the worse experience I have ever had and it still continuing. Will not be return customer. My sales guy was great but the financing has been a nightmare and a rip off. I took the car home on 3/16/17 after spending 4 1/2 hours there and signed all papers.. I made my decisions in 30 minutes. I knew that we might have to change from a lease to purchase due to credit. I placed 300.00 down and left. I got a call Saturday night 3/18/17 that I needed to come by Sunday and sign more papers. When I arrived I was told that the lease didn't go thru which wasn't a surprised. BUT the purchase did go thru and they needed another 700.00. I was working with a budget that I explained upfront and no word was mentioned that there would be a possibility of more money for a deposit. I didn't even bring anything with me to be able to pay. I thought I was just signing papers. After another 2 hours I left. I know have invested 6 1/2 hours at the dealership and multiple phone calls and texts. I talked to them on Tuesday and explained to them if I would have known about the cost I wouldn't have purchased the car I got. I paid 500.00 and he said he would check and see what they could do with the remaining 200.00. In the end nothing could be done. I get another call today 3/30/17 that I needed to sign more papers and they had great news. They cut payments 2.00 a month off and went from 75 months to 72 months. They have completely drained my account. This isn't what I wanted to do but now I am stuck. I would not have put myself in this position if I would have known I would have to cough up a 1000.00 unexpected. They are bringing the papers to me to sign so I don't have to waste anymore of my time at the location. This was my first time purchasing a new car and the worst nightmare I have ever had. They told me they had never had to go back to get more money from a customer that this was something the bank required and there was nothing they could do. So how can you reduce the months and reduce my payments by 2.00 a month now. Why wasn't this done in the first place and you could have explained that there might be possibility of more money coming out of pocket. As they continue to come back to me with more it's making the situation worse. This is not what the Hendrick mission is or what they guarantee. I know they could have done something to lower the deposit but what's done is done. I have no other choices. Bank account is now empty but I have a new car to drive. I would not have made this decision if I knew the cost upfront. I would have gone a different route. I have discussed all of this to them. I am upset now over the whole situation. Isn't buying your first new car suppose to be a wonderful experience. Instead it's the worst nightmare I have ever had. They will do anything for a sale.

    Amanda sales rep was so patient answering our questions and doubts. Even though we turned down the deal she called us again and was ready to engage. She did walkthrough the features in the car. She helped us to test drive the car and trade in our old car. Overall our experience with Hendrick branch was good

    I purchased my CR-Z from Kevin back in 2015 and I returned Friday to get my free oil changer and he sought me out to say hi. He asked me if I wanted to test drive a Subaru that I had my eye on when I came in. Of course I said yes, one thing led to another and I traded in both my cars and purchased two subarus from him! Even though the process was much more complicated trading two cars and purchasing two cars, Kevin made it easy. I have a feeling it will be a little bit before I am in the market for another car, but when I do I will return to kevin!!
