I have used their service department several times for recalls and oil changes with no problems what so ever. Always great service and finished when s
aid work would be completed. Last Friday I went in for a recall for my wife's 2014 Ford Escape Titanium. I was waiting for her to pick me up once she got off from work. I started walking around because we had been looking at other dealerships but nothing had panned out as far as a purchase. As I was looking Wilbur Rouse and Larry Cheek approached me. They noticed I didn't just pull in so they asked if I had my car being serviced. I told them that I did and that we were kind of looking but not hard core. They both decided to let me know that there were some really great deals to be had on the remaining 2017 models including rebates and 0% financing for 72 months! That certainly peaked my interest so I found my way over to the Edges and Explorers. I found a really nice 2017 Edge that was a loaded Titanium model with all the bells and whistles that my wife enjoys. So when she arrived to get me I showed her what I had found! She liked it and we decided to go have lunch and then come back. We came back about an hour later after talking about it and showing her some pictures I had snapped. Wilbur happened to driving by on a golf cart and I flagged him down. We went over to the vehicle and he went and got the keys so he could show us the vehicle. He went over every bell and whistle and gave us a great run down of what the SUV offered luxury and safety wise. Then he asked if she wanted to take it for a test drive?? Sure and away we went on a nice little ride to get a good feel for the SUV. The 2017 Edge Titanium drove like a dream, very smooth and comfortable ride and was quite peppy. She had an 2011 Edge SE before so she was familiar with it and loved her first one before trading it for the Escape Titanium. They have definitely improved on the features and fine tuned everything in between. The Edge is a little bit bigger and has more room than the Escape which we like since we have two kids in our family. When we got back to the dealership we decided to go inside and see what we could do as far as numbers are concerned. I had already done my homework and knew what my trade in was worth and also what I had been offered by other dealerships. It wasn't long before Matt Newton the used car manager and Gray Ferguson the general sales manager both came in and introduced themselves. Both were very nice and easy to work with. I told Wilbur what I expected for my trade and I got an offer above what I anticipated how cool is that? Then we were given two quotes, one with all the rebates and one with a couple rebates and 0% finance option. The 0% was the better option for us because of the savings for interest. I also mentioned I was a Farm Bureau member which is worth another $500 rebate. The negotiations were painless and soon after we agreed on a number that I think was fair for both of us. Larry took over and was helping us at this point. Larry and Wilbur work as a team and it worked out really nice. They told me if I couldn't remember their names to ask for the black guy and the old guy. ha-ha You can tell these two enjoy working together and they have a good friendship and working relationship. One would pick up where the other would leave off and turned out to be a very enjoyable experience. Michael Blank then came in and introduced himself as the finance guy and he was getting the paperwork together and would be ready in about 15 minutes. Another friendly class act! He was great explaining options like the extended warranty and what it covered and that is was by Ford not a third party that wouldn't cover much. While all this was going on they took our new Edge back and detailed it and got it looking like a million bucks! Again totally enjoyable experience with everyone we came into contact with. We will definitely be back when it's time for a new vehicle and I am telling everyone!

t no time did I feel any pressure to buy, which is the best thing you can say about any car salesman. They were knowledgeable, but presented the information in a credible and relatable way. I was not planning on buying a car that day, but the experience definitely influenced my decision to do so positively. It was worth the drive up from Charlotte. Most importantly, they made my wife and I laugh hysterically for 3 straight hours. My only recommendation is that Scott need get in the gym a little more. His biceps are only twice as big as my head and I think with a little work they could easily be bigger.
