Avoid this place at all costs

Received an email that said they would beat any other offer to buy my car. Their preliminary “conservative” online estimate was $37,410. This sounded high for a dealership, so I called and asked a salesman if this was some bogus scam just to get me in there. He said no not at alI, so I said I’d think about coming in for an actual estimate. I was almost immediately called by another sales rep that wanted me to come in. I again said this estimate seemed high and I didn’t want to waste my time if it was a bogus offer. She assured it wasn’t and the actual estimate would likely be higher, and also they they’d beat any other offer by at least $300. So I took the car in, the person looking it over commented it looked brand new. The car is a 2019 RAV4 with about 14,500 miles. So we went inside and sat waiting for about 20 minutes before he walked up and informed us the offer us $30k. What? When I informed him I had a current offer from Carvana for $35,922 he said that didn’t matter, that they said they’d beat any offer “just to get people in the door.” Absolute fraud. We actually bought the car they were appraising from them. I’ll never buy anything from or have anything to do with this place again. Completely dishonest and no respect for peoples’ time. So to summarize they sent an email that was a lie, gave an online estimate that was a lie, and I was lied to be 2 different salespeople over the phone. I guess this is the kind of crap that happens when you have 10 salespeople working and an empty lot with no cars to sell.

DAN WISSENGER

DAN WISSENGER in the service department was more than helpful.. I work at a competing dealership down the street.. they close at 6 pm and I and my customers showed at 615 pm.. he opened the door and allowed me to show my customers a car they were interested in that Toyota was clearing a recall for us. After closing hours and he was very polite and giving of his time. It was above and beyond and I more than appreciated the gesture.

If I could give no stars, I would..

I worked with both Angel and Jose. Honestly, this was the worst experience I have ever had, I strongly recommend anyone that considers purchasing a car here to look elsewhere. After agreeing on the numbers and placing a deposit with Angel, the professionalism went down hill. From asking for updated receipts, quotes on cross bars, transit estimations, it all was terrible. Angel because unresponsive through texts, I would call and leave messages that would go unresolved. Even going into the location did nothing. It was like they got my money and just stopped. I spoke with Jose over my concerns, he kept talking over me. He repeatedly stated that he spoke to my husband in person, even after correcting him several times he kept calling my boyfriend my husband. I even told him that I am a military widow and that my husband was deceased, but that didn’t seem to matter or even change him from referring to my boyfriend as my husband. The date on pickup got pushed from Friday to Monday to Tuesday to Wednesday to Thursday. I called them on Wednesday to see if pickup was still set for Thursday and was told someone would call me.. no one did.. so I called back, same thing. Until I called and spoke with someone that told me the ETA was now showing NA, how they managed to lose a vehicle I will never know. Awkwardly enough, another dealership, that I didn’t even purchase the vehicle from was providing me with more updates than my sales person. It nothing else you’ve read tells you to go with another dealership, that should. Jose, the manager, does not know how important it is to communicate with his customers or his own employees, therefore it’s just a trickle down effect of horrible communication. On top of all that I had to call 4 times just to attempt to get my deposit removed. Please save yourself the hassle and just go to another dealership. Cars are hard enough to get with the chip shortage alone, you don’t need to purchase one from someone who refuses to provide updates. They’ll constantly blame the issue on the chip shortage but that doesn’t change lack of communication. As someone who works in logistics, customers respond better when they are provided updates. Best of luck in your car search!

Best sales team that I have ever encountered

Absolutely a great experience dealing with my salesman Tristan very professional and went above and beyond putting us in our 2021 4 Runner Nightshade. Wonderful experience with Shan the sales manager getting the finance needs done. I highly recommend this dealership for all of your needs. Update I bought another 4Runner from T&CT on Monday 8-30-21 I cannot say enough about Shan and Tristan putting us in the TRD Off road as a business owner it’s a pleasure to deal with such professionalism and they go above and beyond to make the deal work to what you have requested. I would also like to say it was a pleasure working with Brittany the finance Manager she was extremely professional and one of the nicest people I have encountered during numerous purchase processes and made everything smooth and easy! Great test drive, easy to talk to associate!

I highly recommend Angel Peralta as your salesman; he was quick, polite, listened to what I asked for, and didn’t talk me to death. He simply got me the car I wanted to test drive and said, “Try it out, I’ll be here if you have any questions.” Fast and easy. Perfect. And I have had two xxxxty experiences recently test driving cars. Angel, you get my thanks and my business if we decide on a Toyota.
