This review is for the sales department. I am an Active duty service member and contacted the dealer through the USAA car buying program to buy a 2018... CPO Porsche Macan. I bought the vehicle online and only saw it at pick up due to Covid-19. We emailed several times back and forth for paper work. I dealt with Vladimir, John Vass, and Farzan. I could not believe how bad my experience at buying a luxury car was. They acted like they were doing me a favor selling me a car. I got to the dealership and the vehicle was nowhere near the condition it showed on pictures. Come to find out they used pictures of the car from 2 years ago On their website when it was sold as new, not pictures of the current the car was in. They also left all of the previous owners information in the car, like insurance car, registration, and build sheet all with name and address of previous the owner. Next all they wanted to do is get me out of the dealership asap. They did not provide me with any type of information or attempted to show me anything on the car. I had to ask for CPO paperwork as well. After they got my money it was pretty much f-U. Then when I realized the car did not have Apple CarPlay, they tried to charge me $1800 to add this software! Unbelievable for such an easy thing for them to do for a Soldier. All they had to do was add the software to the car for a new customer. Farzan the General manager who spoke to me on the phone and through email didn’t even bother to meet me in person while I was there. I drove 4 hours one way to buy the car and the experience was subpar. 1) The price of their Macan I bought was fair, that’s why I went there. 2) The price on my Trade-in was also fair. I understand it it a business and they have to make money. 3) customer service was terrible and rude. They said no to everything I asked for, from the Apple CarPlay, to all weather floor mats To be included in the deal. 4) I thought buying a CPO Porsche was like buying new or a least a nice experience but I was very mistaken. 5) I felt unwelcome and unwanted at the dealer. Again it was like they were doing me a favor selling me a car 6) The car was misrepresented online in the pictures. Said no. Knowing that I wasn’t local he also said we can’t do it today anyway but if you want it going to cost you $1800. Then when I asked for Apple CarPlay Vladimir simply said no, you can take your trade in back and go home. Please beware of this dealership when shopping.

Luis, First of all I want to apologize for your experience, it is not our goal to have clients come in to our Dealership and leave feeling the way y...ou did. Although that I’m 100 percent certain that it wasn’t my staff’s intent to make you feel the way you are feeling, perception is reality and the reality is that you felt that we didn’t care, for that I am sorry. In regards to the pictures that were dated, that was a mistake on our part and not to mislead you an any way. We always reshoot cars if they return but the wrong set of photos were uploaded. I also understand that you though that Apple Car Play was standard on this vehicle and it wasn’t. You asked for All Weather Mats and the reason they said no was because this was after they had agreed to give you a $1000 refund because you weren’t happy. This was a Pre-Owned vehicle and it was priced based on its condition and miles, you said that it was priced fair. Well there is 288 CPO 2018 Macans for sale in the country and for $37800 (your price $36400) Certified and under 20k miles this one was the lowest priced Macan out of the 288. I know that none of this changes how you felt but please accept my apologies and I assure you that we do appreciate not only your service to our country but also you as a customer. Worst customer service I have had in a long time. Called about a car they have for sale and they said they would call me back they did not know if it... was sold or not. Really? No call back of course. I called the next day and had to leave a message. No call back. Called again the next day and spoke with someone very briefly who would not give me his name and hung up when all I did was ask who I was speaking with. I called back and spoke with Jason who did give me his name but had no clue to handle the call. He finally transferred me to Farzan who was supposedly the sales manager who after getting the stock number could not give me a straight answer. He first told me the car was a loaner car and then he said he had a deal working on it and would not know if it was available until the end of the following week. that would be 10 days later. Really? Everyone of these individuals should not be there.

Thank you for your feedback, we appreciate all feedback even when it is negative. I have checked our records and we actually listened to the phone cal...l and you clearly said that you didn't want us to call you back since the vehicle was sold. Being that you are a Used Car Dealer we assumed that was the reason you declined to give us your phone number when you called. Again sorry for the inconvenience.

Not a great place for service. I asked for 10k oil change and was kept here 4 hours. Just valet of car took an hour. They told me it was 1.5 hours. People... genuinely lack customer handling skills. I watched them long enough.

Purchased a 2018 GT3 from Farzan and Paul. Both were great to work with, especially being an out-of-state buyer. Farzan's communication is good and kept... me updated on the production status of my car throughout the process. He doesn't BS around and keeps everything professional. He also arranged covered transportation of the vehicle once delivered. I did have a small cosmetic issue upon delivery that Paul and Farzan took care of for me. Things do happen and it's great to work with a dealership that stands by their customers. If you're thinking of working with Porsche of South Shore, Farzan, and Paul, you're in good hands.

Flew out from California for business in the city and took the train out to Freeport. Nick, the sales associate, was extremely pleasant and even had me... picked up at the train station to see the Panamera I was interested in. Drove it, liked it but found several serious scratches and scrapes on the exterior that needed addressing. Nick assured me that they would take care of all of the cosmetic defects if I decided to buy it and they'd ship it for free to my home in So Cal. Negotiated a fair price and then the fun began. Nick informed me that they had completed the repairs and sent some marginal quality photos that made it impossible to see if the defects had been repaired properly. I informed Nick that the quality of the 7 photos were not adequate enough for me to make out the repairs and could he take 3 more from various angles. Guess that was it for Nicks professionalism and customer service. He got snippy and wouldn't do it. I told him, once again, why I needed 3 more pics with the latest ones having a reflection which obscured the area in question. Instead of trying again he informs me that iPhones don't take great pics and he wasn't doing it. I decided to contact his boss Farzan explaining that all I needed was 3 more photos and we could complete the deal. Farzan told me I was being unreasonable and that I really wasn't interested in purchasing said vehicle despite my bank attempting to arrange payment. He also mentioned that Nick's customers loved him which I agreed and told him that up until today, Nick had been great. Farzan ends his e-mail by telling me more or less to get lost and tough luck. Personally I think they couldn't get the scratches out and didn't want to put it on film and look bad. GM Paul did respond to one of my messages but talked in circles and didn't say much, again with no real explanation. Whole process was bizarre and I'd recommend avoiding this place especially if you're from out of state.

Visited Porsche of South Shore, I met with Dana who i spoke to on the phone. I came in looking at a Macan. I was able to test drive and picked out a vehicle... from their showroom and took delivery that same day. Great service and great experience.

My husband and I came in today to look at a 2014 Caynne. DO NOT WORK WITH TIMOTHY. I'll start from the beginning, we come in and the lady at the front... desk acts as if I'm bothering her very important texting conversation to tell her we're here for Timothy, and to ask where the restroom was. When I returned from the restroom and stood directly in front of her she did not even bother to look up from her phone. My husband walked from the back of the dealership to me, to tell me that Timothy would be with us soon. Timothy comes over finally, and there's no start of a description of Porsche or the Caynne, just escorted us to the car... note we drove in via a Boxster. At the car he doesn't start to show it to us, just gets in to start it up not saying a word. My husband and I find more cosmetic issues than we anticipated, but none that were complete deal breakers. Timothy backs out the car, then goes to make a copy of my drivers license and my husband and I both confirm with each other that if we can have a price negotiation discussion due to the more severe cosmetic issues than the pictures showed, we were still interested in the car, but we both agreed that this was an odd sales experience. During the test drive I notice that the car is pulling quite noticeably to the right. When I asked Timothy about it, he had no clue, and told me to "just let the wheel go". Then we start talking about dogs - our dog is the same rarer breed as his friends dogs. While driving he shows me pictures... it could have easily waited till we returned, and was not something we were comfortable nor found professional while I was driving. We returned and my husband goes over differences in this car and one 4 hours away in Boston. Timothy listens, and his only response was "well why don't you buy the car in Boston." He said it VERY rudely, had the discussion in a parking lot while it's quite hot outside, and did not even invite us inside, offer water, anything basics that when owing a Porsche you'd expect when buying another, even a preowned. We found Timothy to be extremely rude, and unprofessional. Being Porsche owners, and receiving top notch customer service (and a fantastic sales experience) at multiple dealerships, we will NOT return to South Shore Porsche.
