We are very happy with all of the sales and service that we have received from this dealership. We have now purchased 5 KIAs in 7 years, of which 4 o
f them have been Souls. Both times when we bought the Soul, we decided to buy two of them - replacing both of our existing cars (which this time, were the older 2010 Souls, of course.) My earlier KIA was an Optima with a standard shift transmission, which my wife couldn't drive and we ultimately decided to trade in against the 2010 Souls. So please note that we weren't just trading cars quickly - those older Souls were first year so they were 6 years old and the first generation. And we were very happy with them as we had them - I actually needed a softer riding car for long distances now due to back problems. And the second generation Souls are much smoother and more comfortable that way. For all of these purchases, we've worked with Colleen. We have never felt pressured to do something that we didn't want to do, but have always had her suggest other options that we hadn't considered. And she's spent a lot more time hearing "No, that's not going to work" from me than she has "Sounds good, ring it up!" This time around my trade-in included a relatively new motorcycle which I knew wasn't going to be a great return, but they all still managed to maximize the total trade of that and the 2010 Souls above my expectations. And since we have been working with them for these years, we've seen them stand by their product, with good service recommendations and competitive service pricing that usually does not include unnecessary work for normal KIA warranties. Best review that I can provide - while we don't plan right now on buying any other new vehicles for a lot of years (we hope!) we would consider them first if we do need one and KIA at that time still has a vehicle which we love as much as the Soul. And we'll have a lot of other interactions with the service department because of the scheduled maintenance at very competitive rates for the present cars in the intervening years. My car was on her last legs, the warranty was long expired, and I was pouring money into her to keep her on the road... it was time for a new car. Whe
n I was younger I wanted something fast and flashy. Now I want something reliable, safe, and that won't break my wallet every time I visit the gas station. Half of the driveways in my neighborhood have new Kias parked in them, so I decided to give that a try. Right off the bat Dan was ready to help. I test drove a Soul+ and decided it was right for me. As soon as I decided that I was amazed at how quickly Dan got everything in motion. In less than an hour and a half from the time I walked in the door Dan was giving me the keys to my new car. It was fast and painless and I got a great deal on a great vehicle. All I can say is GREAT! I first visited Kia in Tallahassee about a week before buying. I was there just to look and see some cars I was interested in.
Mike G. helped me, showed me the different options for what I needed but in no way pressured me to make any decisions before I was ready. I called him back to make an appointment for a car I saw online that I liked. My husband and I arrived early, but it was no problem. Helpful staff (Dan B.) stepped right in and showed us everything we requested. They answered every question and if they didn't know an answer, they didn't make one up, they went and found the answer. When we decided to buy, they walked us through everything and then found us another option that we even liked better. During the entire car buying process, any Kia employee who walked by us had a smile on their face and would check to see if we needed anything. After deciding to buy, we were taken to meet each member of the Kia team that would help us with any service or need we would have now or in the future. Every step of the process was explained to us clearly. It was STRESS FREE. I would definitely recommend Kia of Tallahassee!
