Leaks, noisey, Expensive to maintain

Fun to drive, but excitement wares off fast when you realize this car is not at all luxury. Leaks, wood trim comes loose from doors,no room, expensive to maintain, dealership has no clue.

"best all around sports car"

The BMW claim to fame is handling and even after 100,000 miles these cars handle as tightly as mile one. The design of the 325ci never goes out of style. You can't go wrong with a well-maintained vehicle even with those cars in the 120--15o k mi range.

Performance and Looks for a good price

My 2002 325i that I purchased in 2005 is all that I expected from a BMW. It has great handling and performance all in one car. The 184 horsepower 2.5 liter I-6 mated to a 5-speed manual is a great combination. Fuel economy is great (20+MPG). This car is equipped with the Sport Package which gives it a firmer ride and 17-inch wheels and a great steering wheel. This is great for performance and looks but really hurts the ride comfort. All the electronics in the car work like they should and the heated seats toast your buns real nicely. My only complaints are the lack of homelink and the poor quality of the plastic components (first-aid kit cover broke). All in all, it's a great car for the money and a nice first BMW for any enthusiast.

Best Car i have ever owned

My first BMW, but I hope not my last. Really an incredible car. A lot of performance but not so much that you feel you are driving in Le Mans. I love the look of thsi car, and do not like the new BMW's; I love the handling and the car was tremendously reliable. Great service at the dealer, too. Was a good family car, too.

Disappointing325Xi

I bought a 325Xi new in 2002. Since then, had to bring it back to the dealer for replacing (4) window operators. Alternator defect found after the 2nd year; and had to replace battery+alternator. Afther 5 years - just magically right after warranty expried! - rear window molding is peeled off (found to be attached to the car body via "stick-on" glue! - is this really German engineering?); and whenever it rains water is found puddling up in all footwell. The dealer tried to "fix" door seals (4) times, but water/moisture still infiltrate. Hint for other BMW owner: If your car windshield is fogging up after rainy wheather -->> Check under the floor mat!. The same problem found in my brother-in-law 2002 530i. Adding to the list of problem is to power conector to the front seat operator. It is made of cheap/flimsy plastic clip-on, that my kids often kicked it off when getting in and out from the rear seats - this is another example of disappointing German engineering! I love the car performance; but because of this water infiltration and poor quality electronics problems, I must get rid of it........Anyone wants to buy a leaky beamer?????? I don't think so!
