Enjoy this truck.

This Silverado is the 1500 series with trailering package. I have been pulling a 5th wheel with it for 3 years and it has been great. Comfortable and features are great.

I love this fully loaded truck!!

I like the comfort of this vehicle. This vehicle has more features on it than I have ever had before. I love the fact that it already had the tonneau cover, spray in bed liner and power running boards already on the vehicle at time of purchase.

absolutely the best truck I've ever owned

Fit, finish, comfort, reliability, performance, rust-free after 5 years even on the frame. Excellent for a New England truck. I've had toyotas and older GMC trucks. This is hands down the best. I used it for my work as a handy man.

So Far So good

I looked at as all 3 American made trucks. Test drive them all. Hard choice. Choose the 2014 Chevy High Country because of the beautiful chocolate leather interior and pearl white exterior (not what Chevy call them). The controls are very intuitive and easy to work. It handles well for such a larger vehicle. Very roomy and comfortable for 5. Modest drive on the highway I easily get 23 mph. City 18. Tows my 18ft boat with easy. Avg 14mpg. 4x4 is great. Only 70,000 miles. Didn't like the price but all trucks are expensive. No way around it.

Love it Despite some Problems

I have to say the 2014 Silverado when stock is one of the best riding trucks I've ever been in. The styling of interior/exterior is amazing, and it is easy to put on after market parts. I have never found myself short on power with the 5.3 L V8, and it is great in the snow (better than the 2015 2500HD I drive). I have had some problems though, which I have read are fairly common. I purchased the truck with 42k miles and have put 15k on it. In that time I have experienced many minor electrical problems. Never too expensive and is usually fixed within a day at the dealer. Also there is a common problem with the A/C unit but I have to make do. It is a first year of the generation truck, problems are expected. I'm sure 2015 1500s do not have some of these problems.

Don’t waste $45,000 on the Silverado.

These used to be good trucks. Now just under 5 years and the air conditioner condenser is gone, window motor craps out. Brakes started pulsating at 3 years. Just spent almost $2000 to get fixed. And GM KNOWS about these issues are are leaving the customer to foot the bill for inferior products. I will never buy another GM vehicle if this is how they make their vehicles now. Probably go with a Honda next time.

Terrible ac and very poor customer service!!!need a recall, if not I will never purchase another Chevy again! Trucks are made of the thinnest metal possible.
