I normally prefer sports cars (or anything with a nice V-8) but I wanted a car that would be could good on gas , but also be a V-6 so I wouldn't have V-8 withdraws, and save on insurance. So I started looking four door sedans. I liked the Dodge Avenger R/T and felt it had sporty look, but I went for the 200 S since it was easier on the eyes. Interior is nice and the S model comes with leather seats, with cloth around seat warmers, strange mix but comfortable. Styling looks good. Easy to use display and well placed stering wheel controls. Plenty of truck space. Good size engine with 283 hp and 260 lbs of torque. Good handling. And pricing was exactly would you'd see on line. And I like the sunroof. The only two draw backs I have with car are that it still looks like a seabring, but it is far better and with all the improvements. And that it does have some torque steer when you floor the car. And I have gotten over 29 mpg (recommended highway mileage) on drives for 30 miles, otherwise, it sticks to 22 city/highway average. Overall, a good car that you can use for fun.

Traded in a six year-old Chrysler 300 Limited for the 2012 200 S over a week ago. After working as a mechanic for many years, and being a perfectionist, I can honestly say this is one of the best cars to come out in the last few years. I looked at and test drove American and Import mid-size including Ford, Toyota, Honda, and Chevy. I got much more for my money with this car, and the performance is better than the rest of the pack. It's hard to keep my foot off the accelerator with the 283 HP. Plus, it is really quiet inside. The leather seats on the "S" with the suede inserts are elegant, and very comfortable, even on long trips. Mileage around town for me (mix of highway and city) has been 25.5 for the first week. Navigation system is excellent and the Garmin system that shows local gas prices is cool. The Boston Acoustics stereo is very clean and the 40GB hard drive holds all of my music - no need to hook up the iPod, even though the Bluetooth streaming from my iPhone is very easy to use. I can tell all of my friends that this is an American car (my daughter-in-law thought it was a BMW), and I'm proud to support the UAW. They are building extremely high quality products (even though Consumer Reports still only likes Japanese - I am convinced they haven't bothered to really test this car). Highly recommended. And the price is great with the $3,000 rebate.

I purchased a 2012 Chrysler Touring a few month ago. The inside and outside is very stylish, I still love looking at it and thinking, thats MY car! I dont know how I ever lived without climate control, keeps me from always messing with the temperature. I aslo like all the other features this vehicle has to offer. Ive been averaging 28 mpg and I have mixed city and hightway driving on my way to work. It does snow a lot where I live and I have not had any promblems on our icy and slushy roads. My sister in law also purchased the 2011 Chrysler 200 the same day as I bought mine, and she is just as much in love with it as I am. We are very pleased with our purchases!

After several months of owning this car, I can say that I am very happy with it. i have the Limited Edition with the V6 engine. although we only have 8K miles on it we have not experienced any problems at all. Last June we had to go to Texas and got a rental 200, what a difference from a Limited Edition to a rental! If you have rented one of these cars, they do suck. The 4cyl and 4 sp transmission make this for one sorry ride, Next time before you make a decision on a car, do not use a rental. Go test drive a real car with the 6cyl engine. My wife loves the leather seats (grand kids make for messy seats) and the heated seats are a very nice option in the winter for us northern folks I wish: it had memory seat position, dual electric front seats (only drivers seat is electric) and rain sensing wipers like my Trail Blazer does

I bought my 200 Touring V6 new and have put about 5,000 miles on it so far. It is auburn pearl in color and I love it because you don't see a bunch of cars on the road this color. Very quiet, quick, and good on gas, I average about 26 mpg (about the same as my Kia Soul and it weighed less with way less horsepower). The 200 is stylish and sophisticated looking with a great price (dealer knocked several thousand dollars off). I find the transmission bucks sometimes (very primitive and low budget behavior on a car like this). I have the 6-speed automatic and it behaves most of the time but when I'm slowing down or coming to a stop it can become unruly. It should have a locking gas cap, it doesn't, I had to shell out $16 bucks for one. I also dislike the manual hood rod, very cheap/ a car like this should have an automatic hood lift. The interior is attractive and contemporary. Overall nice job Chrysler. I'm looking forward to seeing the all new 200 in January 2015.

I bought the 2012 limited and could not be happier. I came out of 4 BMW ' S over the past 15 years and have to say this car rivals every one of them. The power is ready when you want it and the car drives like a more expensive vehicle . If you are on the fence I say drive once and you are hooked.

I bought this car new and from the first week have had and still have problems with the brakes. Keep taking it back to the dealer who keeps saying nothing wrong. However, when I back out of garage, parking spaces, etc., the brakes squeal something terrible. That should not be! Also do not like the Blue Tooth - very difficult to use and a terrible distraction so have disabled it.
