I smile while driving - a lot. My Sebring convertible still attracts looks and is fun to cruise with the top down. I have just given it a 60,000 mile tune-up and transmission check and I plan to go another 60K in it. There is room for four in comfort and style, and the top goes up or down in only 25 seconds. The robotic action of the trunk rising and the top disappearing into it is always a little thrilling. I wish it had a little more power in the engine sometimes, but the 25mpg is preferred over power. It has been trouble free for all five years now.

Love being able to drive around with the top down - it goes up an down so easily. We have had 4 adults in it - although there is not much leg room in the rear seat it is manageable. When the top is down there is sufficient space in the trunk for a couple of bags of groceries. I am so happy we bought this car!

We just purchased, used, a 2008 Chrysler Sebring. It is a wonderful car, fully loaded with wonderful options. The dealer even installed a sunroof in it for me. I love the contour and comfort of the seat, and the heated front seats. (Kids are asking for heated back seats too!). The ride is comfortable, front driver seat has many adjustments and is very comfortable. Wish the passenger front seat also was power adjust with more adjustment settings, but is fine with the heat for your back. Roomy back seat leg room for all of my teenage boys and their legs- we are very pleased with our purchase.

The Sebring Touring offers excellent value. Facts: 4dr sedan, 2.4L World Engine, Auto Trans, Purchased Jan 08, 20K miles, driven in California and Nevada mountain and freeway driving. The things that are not appealing: 1. The rear seat leg room is deficient, my '93 Dodge Spirit (purchased new 181k miles) has more rear seat leg room; 2. Side view mirrors are fixed not retractable making them susceptible to breaking in tight spots. 3. Chrome appointments in the interior are distracting - I've placed a ball cap in the shift selector to cut glare. Other reviewers are critical of front seat geometry, turn signal stalk, and 4-cly performance are not a factor in my evaluation. The body is not particularly appealing - I purchased the car for transportation not for looks. Favorable features are: 1. 3 air bag systems: 2. excellent gas mileage 17 the lowest recorded, 38 mpg the highest highway, typically 25 in town; 3. Satisfactory power 4.Very good handling on mountain curves; 5. Good visibility; 6. Very satisfactory engine compartment design - lots of room to work on this car to change oil or get at accessories; 7. Timing chain rather than a belt. 8. Pax front seat folds forward making it a nice work space. Quality has largely been satisfactory. Two services issues: 1st, a door window regulator was defective and had to be replaced. 2nd, rear seal on front axle was leaking oil at about 15k miles. Both items under warranty and repaired promptly by dealer. The last most appealing sales feature of the car is the Chrysler lifetime power train warranty. Hopefully Chrysler will be around so I'll be able to get a new engine in 10 to 15 years.

To much money to be in the repair shop!

I bought a 2008 sebring sedan about 3 months ago and it has already been in the repair shop twice. The car had 17,000 miles on it and as we drove it off the lot we realized the cruise control didn't even work. We have put 3,000 miles on this car and it was back in the shop today due to clunking noise when shifted from park and the fact that sometimes when started it chugs and dies. I later foung out that the axle shafts are shot. This is a brand new car that I bought to try to avoid the weekly trips to the repair shop. We bought the 2.4L sedan and I would not recomend it to anyone even though I do love the way it handles and the gas milage is great I am just thanking my lucky stars that we bought the 100,000 mile bumper to bumper warranty.

Fantastic looks with 27 miles per gallon in city / 30 miles per gallon on highways. Classy interior with good use of technology.

I guess I had bad luck because I sprung and bought a 2008 Chrysler Sebring Convertible and have had NOTHING but PROBLEMS. Don't get me wrong I love how the car looks and the gas mileage isn't too bad. However mine has under 20,000 miles on it and it's been in the shop non-stop. I feel like the transmission could go out on me anyday and I've already had to have a new radiator installed and other parts replaced. I purchased this vehicle to get a new car with no miles and start fresh with less problems and have had the opposite effect. Maybe a got a lemon but either way I am very disappointed. In the long run it seems as though I've wasted some hard earned money on something that may never work correctly...

When I purchased my first sebring a 2007 in 2009 I was very pleased with the car overall. The look and it's performance was great. So when I totalled that car a year later it was only natural that I wanted the very same car again. The car held its value and I had monies left over to go towards a new vehicle. This time I purchase a 2008 and I couldn't beat the price. I am a very happy Chrysler Sebring owner.

Bought an 08 Limited convertible. Has 28K now. Consistantly gets 30+ on the highway with the V6. Rides smooth and has plenty of power. uConnect with navigation is great for hands free talking on your cell. Other than one recall, I've only changed the oil and rotated the tires. Lots of room inside and in the trunk - even with the top down. This is a great ragtop. I'll buy another when the time comes.
