Lots of room with Style

The car was exactly what I have been looking for, 3 rows that can hold my family with room. Went from a mini van to a SUV. Didn't want to lose all the space and I didn't. Plus have some really nice features now DVD players, Leather/heated Seats, and lots more.

Used to love, now I regret

I have a 2013 limited I've owned for 4 yrs. Loved it at first and still like it, except the problems with it. Since 2016, the hood has been bubbling and flaking off. A friend owns a 2016 and hers is doing the same thing. Its a common problem that Ford wont recall or fix. My sister has a 2014 and both of our gear shifters need replaced because when in Park, the Park light on the dash doesnt recognize its parks and continually beeps to shift to park. Now it has shut off on me twice while driving and goes into limp mode. The throttle body is going out which is another common problem. Luckily i havent been on the interstate when this has happened. Another issue is I continue to get a warning and check engine light for a fuel fill inlet problem. Apparently another common problem. But Ford has told me its no big deal and just ignore it. Now I'm having a hard time trading it in because of these problems. I'm losing a lot of value on it because a hood repaint is over $1,000 and the throttle body is around $600. And this isnt a huge deal but kindof a pain, it has 20" tires when none of our local places stock so they have to be ordered and seem to cost more. Like the car, styling, and ride, but too many problems.

Stylish SUV

This review may be too soon to offer a true opinion. We just picked up our Ford Explorer but we are hoping it will be as reliable as the Sport Trac we previously owned.

Great car

This car met all my needs. I couldn't be happier with all the knowledge I got on the car from Nick @ Toyota! It was a amazing deal.

The worst vehicle I ever owned.

The vehicle is very comfortable to drive but the carbon monoxide odor in the cabin are intolerable. The vehicle only have 20000 miles and 6 yrs since I got it and been tow about 6 times.

Soccer Mom Car of the Year

I love my Explorer (Sport). As a mom of young kiddos it is a must have to have a functional car with enough space and this one offers style. I love having bucket seats in the back, which is also a fun feature for my kids. The best thing about it, is that it is not a mini-van!

Awesome SUV.

Loaded with options like the navigation system, back up camera, tow package, AWD. Ruby red color is a knockout. Purchased from a Ford dealer - got a good deal.

Love the car but it has problems

I love the interior and exterior look and feel. Very roomy even with two car seats in the middle row. However, my car is less than 5 years old and we?ve had to replace the passenger strut twice, also CV axle on that side. Power steering rack and pinion also had to be replaced at just over 100k miles. The main gear in the system failed and locked the steering down, thankfully we weren?t going fast. This is a recall but my vin is not covered. I contacted ford and the NHTSA and both told me they weren?t concerned or planning to extend the recall. It took ten days to get a replacement part because it is on a national back order due to the amount of failed parts needing replaced.

Very stylish vehicle and super reliable

Has a lot of Space. I'm able to go on road trips with my family since I can fit up seven people. And its definitely made for all of Colorado's weather conditions.
