2018 GMC Terrain consumer reviews

2018 is our 2nd lease of same model Terrain. Tinny noise after 3rd visit to dealer proved to be a broken screw allowing vibration. 2018 Terrain had Sirius radio, side warning indicator in mirrors and audible indicator along with the backup camera. For some reason you relocated the rear gate button to the lower part of the door. Also the "rear gate open" indicator comes on. When this comes on the rear wiper will not work. 3 visits to dealer this issue has not been resolved. Problem still persists for no apparent reason and becomes a safety issue during bad weather. when I am stopped and check the rear gate it is always completely closed. On the plus side the fuel economy is fantastic. We travel to and from Ohio to Pennsylvania and to and from Florida. The road noise is somewhat disappointing and I sure miss the Sirius as we travel through various cities and states. General (Generous) Motors, after this lease I will go back to my Jeep Grand Cherokee.

Happy so far. It was very clean during the test drive. They explained most of the features. Great gas mileage. Hope everything continues to work as expected.

my wife and I love this car it drives great and we feel safe in it. I plan to get it real soon god willing.

Purchased for my wife who is very picky. There is a learning curve with the options and electronics but she is pleased. Check back in 5000 miles.

I have previously owned a lexus car. I for syre believed that would be hard to top but after wanting more room and looking for an suv the GMC met all of my needs. It is nicer than my lexus inside and out.

This vehicle from the start had issues. At 2,000 miles the auto stop feature failed and I was stuck in the middle of an intersection. I had to turn the vehicle off and restart it to get the engine to re-engage. Which then I got pulled over from a police officer because I hesitated too long at the intersection. The dealership had it for 1.5 weeks as it needed a new battery and cam shaft cylinoids. The local dealership had been great but GM directly is horrible. It now has radio software issues that I have had it in now twice for it and still isn't working properly. I had a 2017 Acadia before this one that was so unsafe GM ended up buying back from me. I will buy from the dealership again but I will never ever purchase anything from General Motors again.

We love our new car. Its spacious with lots of upgrades. Very stylish and comfortable to be in. Love it. Never owned a gmc til now. We've been missing out.

This vehicle turns off and on when you stop a big safety issue very dangerous to drive. And I am scared to drive this vehicle on the Freeway and streets.

Love love love my Terrain. Great performance and fuel mileage!! The styling is sleek and modern. Get tons of compliments on it. The features are awesome too.
