There's a difference between cheap and inexpensive. The Hyundai Excel, the first offering for the U.S. from the South Korean automaker in the 1986 model year, was cheap--$4,995 The Hyundai Accent, the model that replaced Excel in the 1995 model year, is inexpensive--$9,999.
