Beautiful car. Smooth 3.8 liter six cylinder
Interior is comparable to Mercedes or Audi. Nav, xm radio, excellent stereo. Very powerful 3.8. roomy back seat and truck. Keyless entry.

Great combination of power, luxury, and value.
Extremely high value for a used car. Powerful V8 engine is surprisingly quick and feels quite fast. The interior is very luxurious and has great features, including the radar guided adaptive cruise control. Exterior is simple, yet beautiful and just looks high class. Easily one of the most reliable cars I've ever owned, not a single minor or major issue so far and closing in on 100,000 miles. Such a great car, I might buy a second one...

Great Car!!
Its a great car, but watch out for the recalls. It has plenty of power and it's very responsive!!! I can't wait to upgrade to the 5.0 r spec. The interior has both heated and cooled seats, which is a plus. Overall its a great car!!!!

Have the 4.6 and enjoy its power
Enjoy long trips due to the adaptive cruise (standard) comfortable seats. However once in a while the stereo system doesn't function but comes back on its own. (Several owners have had same issue radio replaced, but same problem) Gas mileage average 23-25 mpg.

So far extremely happy
Been a Toyota fan for many years and wanted to upgrade to the Lexus. However the Genesis outshines the Lexus in value. I got a 2011 with 80,000 miles. A comproble Lexus would have been a few thousand Dollars more. The feel of this car, the comfort, performance, appearance is first class. I'm extreme happy with it and feel i made the best decision.

Nice car but No Value
I leased a 2011 Hyundai Genesis and was extremely please with everything about the car. At the end of the 3year lease asked if I would be upside down for the pay off, was told No. Bought with a certified pre-owned warranty as I had another car and didn't drive it much. Went to have the service on the car and had received in the mail for a appraisal from the dealership. Was insulted when they offered me $13,000 and my pay off was $17,000.00. They also had three other Genesis on their lot with more miles and not well as maintained as mine and were selling for $20,000.00. I sold the car the following month and went back to Mercedes so it would loose any more value. Told them I am glad I never traded up to the Equus. So if you have the higher end model in mind buy used and let someone else take the depreciation. I also referred friends to the brand but they were smart and bought the less expensive models.
