In the past I always thought of Kia as a lower end brand, but when I decided to trade in my 2015 Honda Accord LX, I went and test drove the new Optima just out of curiosity... Spoiler alert.. I bought one!! Initially I was going to go for the EX trim but realized that there was more in the LX model than my Honda's EX model had in it. It's amazing how many features that Kia packed into the base model. I purchased the LX with the LX Driver Convenience Package and the LX Convenience Plus Package. The styling on the outside of the vehicle is very attractive and I am amazed to see that Kia has included all of the chrome accents led alone the alloy wheels. My favorite favorite favorite feature on my Optima is the auto power folding mirrors that fold in and out when I lock and unlock my car. Just a feature that nobody else offers in the class, no biggie. The seats are pretty comfortable for the most part, a little bit more back support would be appreciated however. The fact that I have heated seats in the base model is also quite unbelievable. The heated steering wheel function is something I haven't tested out yet due to the fact that it has been 85?F all week, however, when those cold fall mornings roll around, I will test that one out. I found the center stack to look very much like a BMW 3-Series in that it has the audio system mounted like a tablet which the UVO system with Apple CarPlay works like a dream and I wouldn't ask for anything else. The climate control is so super easy to use and the buttons and knobs all feel really nice and they all have a satisfying click and tick. Overall, I would recommend this vehicle to anyone looking for a really comfortable, fuel-efficient, premium sedan to get you through your commute.

Leased new Optima. Decided I didn't need an SUV anymore (Kia Soul). Totally pleased with my choice. Looks fine. Drive very nice.

The car was made very cheap when it was redesigned in 2016. The car has more features but was poorly made. Simple things like no detection alert when you forget to turn off your turning signal. The radio sounds like a boom box, very poor quality speakers. I purchased the Ex model and I hate it. Its a very cheaply made car.

I recently purchased the Kia Optima SX. I am pleasantly surprised with the Optimas 2.0L Turbo engine. I have always owned V6 engines and I was worried with the performance but it far exceeds my expectations. The interior while not a Lexus or Infiniti, which is what I traded in, I am very happy with it also. Overall it is a very nice car at an extremely great price.

Coming from a Chevy Aveo, then Cruze, the Kia is a step up in every category imaginable. Beautiful roomy interior and sexy black exterior. Love this car!

Not only is the Optima one of the prettiest cars on the road, it comes with the features that keep you safe. Blind Spot detection. Lane Departure warning, Rear cross traffic Alert, smart cruise control, and autonomous breaking are available. Compared to other cars offering similar features, it is a great value. I love my new Kia.
