2017 Kia Optima consumer reviews

This car is well deserving of the #1 mid-size sedan selection by Consumer Report. It's loaded with options and safety features at a great price. A better car than most of the so-called, "Luxury mid-sized sedans." I was considering a Lexus ES 350, but the Kia is, in my opinion, a better car with more options at a huge saving, and I drove an ES 350. I love my Kia Optima SXL!

i have had my Optima for a couple of weeks and have already taken it for a couple of long trips as well as commuting all around the Bay Area. There is a lot to love about the car - it is very comfortable, gets impressive gas mileage, enjoy the sun roof, handles well, has reasonable pick-up. I really like the Advanced Cruise Control, it makes driving in traffic a lot easier to deal with. My only issues are with the GPS and Voice Recognition. I do not trust the GPS for real-time traffic direction - I compare it with Waze and Waze has much better directions. With Voice Recognition it is difficult for the VR to process what I am saying, it frequently asks me to repeat myself. I do not have similar problems with my phone or computer VR.

The new Kia Optima FE handles great but it's roomy for a family of 4. It has a huge trunk as well. I was surprised at the improvement in gas mileage over the 2014 I also own.

We traded in a great 2011 Kia Sedona minivan with only 43000 miles on it. No longer needed a minivan so we purchased the 2017 Kia Optima and we have had it for one month. What a smart move! The Optima is more than we expected. We still have our 1997 Toyota Camry in good condition after 20 years. We are positive the 2017 Optima will do the same.

I've driven a Kia Sedona minivan for 12 years. I loved that car, but gave it up to my teenage son. I switched to a Kia Optima, which is the first sedan I've had in over 25 years. I love it! It looks awesome, it's powerful, comfortable, roomy and gets great gas mileage. I am so pleased with this car that I just turned in my leased Optima and purchased a brand new one. And I look pretty good behind the wheel, too!

Best car u can get for the cost.. it's luxurious, rides smooth and is easy on the eyes... What more can u ask for??? Your bank account will thank u..

I've always been a Toyota girl because they are very reliable but uncomfortable. This car is so comfortable, more spacious and handles beautifully. It has alot more features than the Camry and costs less.

This car is the best car ive ever owned. It has top of the line safety features and awesome functions that make it easy to operate while driving, such as, hands-free Bluetooth which makes it easy to make a phone call or even change the radio station without having to be distracted from driving. Moreover, this car has top of the line comfort seating with beautiful interior design. The features on the car are not only helpful but also makes this car the safest, most reliable car I've ever owned.

The vehicle met all of my needs. One of the smoothest riding vehicles I've ever driven in. Nice sleek design.

This is my second Optima and it truly is a wonderful car. I never knew a car could do so much. I most definitely will purchase this car again in the future
