Best SUV I have ever owned!

I purchased my MB certified 2019 GLE400 two years ago and have driven 30K miles with no issues. I have owned several SUVs - Audi & Toyota Landcruisers; the 400 is by far the best. Very comfortable ride, excellent handling, acceleration, smooth braking & quiet. 17-18 around town; 25-27 highway. It takes a learning curve for the entertainment center but afterwards very easy. Above all - I feel safe driving my family. MB for life!!

Maddening Infotainment. Bad electrics.

Battery goes dead every 8 to 12 months and leaves me stranded far from a dealer. Still can’t learn how to work the gadgets. Not intuitive overly redundant.

Luxury’s Finest

Just bought this car a couple of days ago and I’ve driven Audi’s and BMW’s, but this SUV is by far, the best. It has a ton of features and safety options that make it so much better than any other vehicle in its class. My car is a 2019 CPO &only had 11,000 miles when I bought it.

It’s a Mercedes-Benz

Went from a C300 to a GLE 400...needed a SUV so we looked at a Cadillac and Audi...we wasted our time. The GLE 400 surpassed those in that class in every category we established. BiTurbo is awesome and it’s a safe and powerful vehicle for my wife. She loves it after a great experience with the C300. It’s a little thirsty but gas dollars are reasonable.

Just took delivery

Luxurious and comfortable to drive and ride in. Nicest SUV I have every driven. Right height for viewing the road. Ample space in second row and trunk area. Lots of featured. Many safety featured.

Poorest winter vehicle I have ever owned

Mine is a Canadian 2018 GLE400. Can't find a page anywhere that deals with it. Handles very poorly on winter highways, with much slipping and swaying and sometimes violent activation of anti-skid control. I am unable to keep up with the normal flow of traffic under these conditions. Also, in temperatures below -20°C I have experienced several instances of the PCV system freezing and the engine burning several litres of oil within a few minutes (yes- burning not spilling). This problem has not been successfully addressed by the dealership or by M-B Canada, although they have tried a couple of times. The dealer suggests that it is due to the unique conditions I drive in - cold weather and long trip legs. The climate I drive in does not significantly differ from the climate at the dealership where it was purchased. I now carry a spare 6 litres of engine oil with me when driving in the winter. Most of my driving is highway driving. I do not use this vehicle for daily commuting.

great Car

This is my 4 MB SUV. It was called ML 350 before, then it became GLE 350. The GLE 400 2019 is Last year of production. It has great acceleration due to its turbo engine. Great fuel economy ( 9 speed transition). I like all the bells and whistles in this car. I test drove the 2020 GLE 350 ( comes equipped with V4 engine) , it seemed smaller and made with cheaper materials ( although stuffed with electronics) . GLE 400 is the best value and performance.

Safe car for my Family

The car has good quality materials, plenty of space, and has good gas mileage for a suv in that class. The GLE 400 is the best overall engine in the GLE line. We are very pleased with the car. I know that my family is protected in case of an accident!

Fabulous vehicle!

Love everything about it! I drove several SUVs over 2 weeks and saved the GLE until last. Nothing even came close to comparing to it - my search ended and I bought it without hesitation!

Great Machine

This is by far the most comfortable ride and overall best driving experience of any car I've ever owned. Bough at 2019 Certified Pre-Owned with about 4400 miles on it.
