A new Gullwing...

by Arajan from Boston, MA on Sat Feb 08 2014

After having owned a Mercedes Gullwing 25 years ago I am finally back into one again, namely the SLS. Got the exact colors I wanted from an ad on cars.com.

A true bliss

by Mercedes Boy from Miami, FL on Mon Dec 05 2011

The car maneuvers very well, and is a right champ on the road. Top notch steering, control and on top of that the hp is massive, which creates this near out of world experience driving the car. I've driven Ferrari's, Lamborghini's, Aston's and out of all those this car stand out not only for its exquisite design but its performance. One of a kind.

Beautiful Design, Fast Car

by Noah from CA on Wed Oct 24 2018

This car displays a beautiful, timeless design. For being six years old now, it still has the ability to keep up with today?s super cars. Additionally, great for long distance trips or cruising around town with it?s fantastic comforbility. I must admit though, the rear end is a bit shakey.

Our Take on the 2012 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

Editor's note: This review was written in September 2010 about the 2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG. Little of substance has changed with this year's model. To see what's new for 2012, click here, or check out a side-by-side comparison of the two model years.

More than just a return to a gull-wing design, the 2011 SLS AMG is the best-performing Mercedes ever made, despite some quirks that should be ironed out over time.

The SLS AMG was inspired by the 1950s Mercedes-Benz 300 SL gull-wing coupe and designed to go toe-to-toe with the best exotic sports cars in the world. With a price less than half that of Mercedes' previous supercar, the SLR McLaren, this one's actually priced to sell.
