very good car all around but a little on pricey side to repair if you need to. The thing that really stands out is the handling

Great performance, Slightly Underpowered

by Nissan Sportscar enthusiast from Ohio on Tue Jul 24 2007

All around good performance, and lightweight, crisp handling from independent suspension. My only beef is they never released the version with the 2.0 Liter turbo engine here in the states. Needs a bit more power but its well balanced with what it has. Better gas mileage when super octane level gas is used.

One owner

by MP from Las Vegas on Fri Dec 09 2011

Purchased car new. Outstanding handling. Power is only adequate. Overall very reliable. Mass airflow sensor, stock seats, power antenna and coolant resevoir are common failures around 100K point. Replaced oxygen sensor and one fuel injector at 110K. Absence of standard cupholder is frustrating. Parts are plentiful.

Nice car for a 93 model.

by EMT-Don from Reidsville, NC on Sat Feb 13 2010

My 240SX was given to me by my dad. It has 144,523 actual miles. Everything still orginal, and in great ,great condtion, inside and out. I love this car. It handles the curves with ease. It does ride a little rough though.

I get compliments all the time when I drive it. It is a fun ride since it is a convertible. Stylish outside.

Our Take on the 1993 Nissan 240SX

With apologies to George Gershwin, it soon will be Summertime and the Drivin' Is Easy. And there is no better way to enjoy warm-weather motoring season than in a convertible.

Taking advantage of this is Nissan Motor Corp., which will be offering the company's first softtops in more than 21 years.

The Nissan 240SX convertible is expected to debut locally late this month. It will be the first open car from Nissan since the 1971 Datsun 2000 roadster. The 300ZX convertible will be in showrooms this summer.

"We were originally promised the 240 convertible by the end of April," said Jeff Drake, general manager of Collins Nissan. "But now it doesn't look like we're going to get the first one until around... Read More
