I enjoy my Nissans

Each Nissan car I have bought, is more enjoyable than the last; more power, sleeker look and greater reliability. My 2017 Altima is very comfortable with very nice safety features. The warning signals help me from bumping into things, front, side and back. I particularly like that feature. I am looking forward to enjoying my new car in the years to come.

Stylish and functional love this car

The car handles very well and the transmission is incredibly smooth, it seems so high tech but easy to operate.I love the sound system and the seats are very comfortable. It is such a quiet car if you stop at a light it sounds like it's off. Fantastic car!!!!

Comfort, performance and great fuel economy.

The Nissan Altima is contender in the mid-size sedan market up against Camry and Accord. Tending to be a little less expensive, it still offers all of the bells and whistles and gives better performance. I had the opportunity to test drive (as a new rental vehicle) a 2017 with less than 5k miles and was still getting 38+ mpg combined hwy and city driving on a 750 mile trip. It's definitely the car I will be shopping for, even looking for models as old as 2014. The interior comfort is good, the back seat isn't crowded and seats adjust to all sizes of drivers. The trunk is roomy, the backup camera handy and the overdrive button on the shifter is handy to use. The car has lots of zip for a 4 cylinder. it's quick to respond and the handling is tight. Great for cornering and handling.

Car with zip

I usually drive a SUV. Driving a car for a week after driving a jeep for 10 years, there isn't much comparison. It did have zip when it got going. The issue was with while going it seemed to stutter when you press the gas. The comfort was on if you don't go far. The leg room was limited and wouldn't go back far enough for a tall person, which caused aches in my knee. The controls were logically placed. But I didn't like the need to bend forward to change the channels due to no steering controls except for cruise and aux/ connected device controls. Overall not bad.

Riding in Comfort and Style

I have been driving a Nissan Altima since 1997, with a little hiatus from the Altima for a year driving an Infinity G20 in 1999 for a few months. Overall, I love the Altima. But when I went into a dealer to test out the 2017 Nissan Altima SR model, I was hooked! I left the dealer 3 weeks ago in a new midnight edition Black SR. I have never sat in a more comfortable seat than the Altima and I was happy to have the same comfort in the 2017 model. It really is a sweet ride and I feel like I own a luxury sports car with the paddles behind the steering wheel and the ability y to gun it when needed. Love how it handles and for the price, it really is the best deal on a sports sedan in this class out there. Only concern I have is with the CV Transmission as I had issues with my 2013 Altima's tranny. Ended up trading it in after Nissan Service Dept couldn't find the issue, even though it was jerking and stalling frequently after 70K miles. They reprogrammed the CVT for a recall and it seemed to fix the issue for a few months. After it hit 85K, however, the problem came back and Service Dept said another reprogram wouldn't do anything. Happy to have the 2017 SR trim now though! Love it so far and no issues, other than an increase in double takes from passers by ;)
