Juke equals fun

The Juke is a fun little car. The combination of economy, power and AWD was exactly what I was looking for. As a second car in our family it answers every need very well.

Very poor build quality

I have owned a used 2012 Juke 1.5dsl for 18 months. The cars build quality is poor all round. The upholstery is particularly bad, the drivers seat showing more wear than my wife's 2006 ford fiesta. The alloy wheel finish is poor showing signs of corrosion in the wheel nut recesses. The car drives very well and has a good torque, looks good, but finish is a let down.

One of the best cars I have owned

I was looking for something like a SUV but not too big and doesn't burn a lot of gas. When I first saw it I laughed because it looked funny. Then I test drove it and fell in love. It's a great car for someone who wants a little bit more room and will be reliable to get them to point A to point B.

Too many problems

Terrible gas mileage, already had problems with ignition starting as well as driver door lock not working. Trunks so tiny you can?t fit much in there. Not worth the money

Reliable and economic car with a coupe like agilit

Very comfortable, very agile yet economic car. During the last 6 years that I Owned this car, I never had a problem with it. The gas pedal quick responsiveness and the agility if the car makes you feel like you're in a coupe. Overall it was worth every penny.

The leather seats on a Juke are not all leather!

I bought my loaded to the Max 2012 Juke off the showroom. Had everything Nissan makes on it. Absolute top of the line. I?m retired so it gets driven little. 6 years old 37k Miles. At 27k miles the side of the drivers seat started to split. How can this be, it?s leather! Turns out after a dozen calls, emails and complaints to Nissian. Only the part that touches the body has to be leather. I?m a small guy. 175 pounds, careful how I get in my car to protect the leather. Visits to top upholstery shops, all agree, cheapest vinyl they could use. I began to look for a used seat lower part. Every high end salvage told me the same thing ?they all do it?. I finally gave up. I?m having the seat fixed with LEATHER. Just to offer the upholstery shop an option, I decided to buy a the seat cover, just the butt part so they could sew a nice piece of leather on the side. Ready!!! Nissan dealer nearly dropped the phone. You have to buy the entire bottom of the seat, frame and all. Just over $1,800.00. Eighteen hundred dollars. I love my AWD TURBO Juke. I usually buy a new car every two years. I?ll keep this car until one of us stops. That said. My first new car for graduating high school was a Datsun. I owned the first privately owned 79 280ZX in Wichita Ks when they came out. Nissan said. So what, we will do nothing about our cheap vinyl. Funny, my Lexus was all leather. SAD SAD SAD.
