I've been an owner of this vehicle since March 2015; this car is excellent on gas and drivability. This is a car that has many valuable features such as the Eco and the Sports button which allows the user to choose how they want to drive their car each day. Living in a small rural area where a car is needed to get to everywhere you go, this car is great for the value. This is my first brand new car and there is nothing bad I can say about my 2014 Nissan Sentra S; excellent car. I have become a Nissan customer and at this point intend to stay one because of the service Nissan provides and the vehicle quality.

I have the the 2014 nissan sentra FE +SV. This is my personal vehicle. So far mileage in the city is a constant 24-26 mpg. Highway a constant 34-37 mpg and a mixed city/highway mpg of right under 32. I have gotten as much as 39.25 (cruise control the whole time) on the highway and as little as 20.25 in the city (because of cold winters with extra ethanol in the gas and warming the car up for 15 mins. almost every time). I am pleased with the car overall. I'm 6'2" 240 lbs. and sit very comfortably in the car. It is very spacious. The car does drive very smooth. CVT is still a little weird for me but that's just the nature of the transmission. I always feel the CVT droning around 20-25 mph and then it is smooth the rest of the way. Suspension is good but a bit noisy. Front driver seat does not recline forward on me unless I lift the lever and use my hand at the same time to pull the seat forward. I did notice that the paint does chip fairly easy. Guages look beautiful. A/C is ice cold, while the heat takes a while to warm the car up. Telescoping steering wheel seems pointless in this car. Also, center armrest seems a bit small and positioned a bit far back. So far 13k miles no mechanical issues whatsoever. I hope this review may have helped someone.

Great car with great gas mileage

I recently gave/sold on payments, my little BMW, to my Son who recently graduated Army basic training. So, I needed something to drive back and forth to work, other than my gas hog Toyota Sequoia, which is great in winter weather but I would go broke driving it daily. I saw a used car on the website for my local Blue Springs, MO Nissan dealership. It was another brand, not a Nissan. Having worked there many years ago and just knowing their great reputation in the community, I went to check it out. I came in on Saturday & the staff was very friendly and showed me the car. It was a decent little car for the price & I was going to be content to drive it. There was a small issue with getting my financing approved, so the finance mgr asked me to come back on Monday to finalize everything. They let me take the car home with me. The sales rep drove my Sequoia home for me and then I drove her back to the dealership. I came back on Monday & an unexpected turn of events took place. The finance mgr indicated I may have a better shot at getting financed for a brand new car, than the used one I had been looking at. Worried I wouldn't be able to afford the payment, he worked with me and got me financed at a rate of 2.9%. The car they were offering to me was a 2014 Nissan Sentra. It was the "S" model, which is the least equipped model, but once I drove it I was hooked. Great acceleration, great standard equipment, except no cruise control. I commute almost an hour to and from work, so I like to use cruise control. They said I can add cruise control when I'm ready for about $600, which I will definitely be doing at some point soon. I love the car, though. I can't believe I came home in a brand new car, when I intended to just get some little "beater" to go back and forth to work in. I keep catching myself looking out in the driveway at it. I'll be taking good care of it & the dealership will be helping me to do so with their free oil changes for the lifetime of owning the car. I also got a 100K mile bumper to bumper warranty & was able to finance the sales tax into the payment. They will be preparing me a check to take with me when I go to register the car. I couldn't be happier & I owe it all to the staff at Blue Springs, MO Nissan for exceeding all of my expectations.

I have recently leased and Nissan Sentra. After driving a Rogue for several years, I thought I would not be able to adjust to a Sentra. To may amazement the transition was easy and after raising my seat I felt like I was still in my Rogue. The car drives like a dream and I am very happy with my choice.

I absolutely love this car... This is also my third straight Nissan Sentra... I had leased a 2008, then a 2011 and now I purchased a 2014.... Wasn't really a major Nissan guy but their lease and finance loyalty program is amazing and their financing deals alone have kept me coming back.... What a great little car.. I think Nissan did an amazing job in the new redesigned Sentra.. I purchased a Sentra SR with the drivers package (4 wheel disc brakes, upgraded stereo with XM radio, leather wrapped steering wheel and shifter, keyless entry/push button start, fog lights and a slightly more sporty look than the base model) Great gas mileage.... I averaged about 25 MPG in my 2011 Sentra I just turned in and so far after a month and 1,200 miles I am averaging almost 33 MPG taking the same daily commute I've been taking for years now. The car has a much stiffer ride than my 2011 SR.. The 17 inch wheels on the 2014 vs the 16 inch wheels on the 2011 probably make up a lot of that difference.. Also the steering is a lot stiffer and way smoother than the 2011. They did a great job not only on the exterior redesign but the interior as well.. I love how the shift handle is more flat and in the center than the angle more towards the dash on my 2011... The power windows are a lot smoother and quieter than they were on my 2011. Interior seems more roomy even though looking at a side by side comparison of the dimensions of the 2011 and 2014 it is bigger but only every so slightly... Things I don't like... You can lift the windshield wipers without them hitting the hood.. and not slightly the drivers side wiper scraped the hood and took away some paint and the passenger side you can only lift it an inch or two off the windshield and then it hits the hood.. Weird design if you ask me not sure exactly how your suppose to pop them up when cleaning the windshield or replacing the wipers. The drivers package also list "Smart" auto headlights that turn on when it's dark or you use your windshield wipers more than x number of times in x amount of time... It's also suppose to be smart enough to know if your just in the shade or if your driving through a tunnel... I've found that when turned to the "Auto" setting they turn on every time I turn the car on... even if it's 90 degrees and sunny outside at noon.... I also don't like how when I have my iPod plugged in I have to turn the volume down vs the radio... When using the radio I have to turn the volume up to level 30 for it to be a nice comfortable volume level and 15 - 20 when I switch to my iPod... The stereo automatically goes to iPod when you turn the car on so if when I parked I was listening to XM or broadcast radio at 30 or 40 on the volume settings and then I get back in my car after work it auto goes to my iPod and nearly blows me out of the car it's so loud... I've gotten use to it now but you have to make sure you make the adjustment... my 2011 had the iPod connection and the volume settings were the same on the radio or iPod.... outside that I love it....

Hi, My name is Laura, I just wanted to tell you the kind of experience I had after I broke down. When calling Fontana Nissan Service Center to ask questions on my 2008 Nissan Sentra, about it's warranty, I spoke with Paul and told him my story how I broke down and that I was stranded on the 15 freeway going into Las Vegas. Not knowing that I can get another car. Not knowing that my story was going to be told. Paul had told his mangers and told my dear friend Sal, Sal called me as soon as he was told of this story and they all communicated with me about my situation and kept reassuring me that I can get another car. I was in shock, complete shock. After doing the application on my tablet & many questions later, I was approved. Not knowing how I was going to get back home, I was looking for ways to get there, after letting Sal know, he told me no that he would come out to Las Vegas to come and get me. I was astonished to what he had said. The next day came and I was ready to go he showed up and took me back to California to get my car, Sal and his Nissan family made it happen for me. I am so happy and blessed. Sal and his Nissan family helped make it happen. Thank you Sal, for making this possible, you did a great job and making me a happy person and sticking with me and not giving up and keeping me posted, I really appreciate you. Fontana Nissan is a great family and I'm glad to do business with you. In great appreciation, from my family to yours, Ms. Laura :)

Going from a 2009 to a 2014 was a bit of a shock performance wise. The 2014 is a slug at best and embarrassing going uphill. But the gas mileage is awesome, the creature comforts with Bluetooth and sound system are wonderful, and the interior is nicely upgraded. For the price, this is the best commuter on the market. Excellent value. I just hope the newer models bring a little more performance to the table.

My husband and I were looking for a new car. We went to one Nissan dealership and they weren't really interested in working with us. Then we found Eric Carter and Modern Nissan at Lake Norman, NC. It was well worth the hour drive to go see him and the rest of the team that helped put our deal together. Love our new car, and really loved the excellent customer service they provided. Anyone thinking about buying a Nissan in NC should go see Eric!
