Ridiculous Fun

by Fast Al from North Attleboro, MA on Thu Jul 19 2012

Its ridiculous, totally impractical, embarrasses the heck out of my kids and I love it. I bought mine new and it now has 35000 miles on it. Handling is awesome, performance is very good but not overwhelming; I?d call it `about right? for this car. Be aware that there are a few things you will need to put up with: harsh ride, essentially no storage space, 200 miles on a tank of gas (if you are lucky), poor rear visibility with the top up, and it leaks like a sieve in the rain. But for cruising on a Saturday night, you can?t beat it.

Ridiculously fun!

by Can't Help But Grin from Chardon Ohio on Mon Aug 08 2011

Gotta have one. Period. It's a cool, stylish, exotic headturner. Some have never seen one live! Buy it. Love it. Keep it! It's only going to increase in value over time!

Happy to own one!

by Epicure from Browns Point, WA on Sat Aug 01 2015

Our Plymouth Prowler is one of those cars, no matter how bad the day was at the office, when you arrive home and it's sitting there in the garage - the only thing you can do is SMILE!! Even my wife tells me we are never selling this car! It' got it all - looks, drive ability and yes the 2000 and newer are definately fast! If you want more speed, add two things to it for $2,000 and it will be almost 1 second quicker than a Corvette Model.

A lot of fun

by Drano from Indep., Mo on Fri Aug 02 2013

I have had a lot of cars and nothing turns heads like this Prowler. My Prowler is a 2000 with only 19000 miles and looks like new and drives like a dream. Count me as one of the lucky 11,000.

Vehicle that is a head turner and fun to drive

by LesH from North Baltimore, OH on Sun May 20 2018

Beautiful car, fun to drive and definitely made people look since you don't see many of them around. It was fun to cruise in. Nice car if you want something that not everyone has!

True American head turner

by porche from Los Angeles on Sun Jul 23 2017

Top ranked American car to retain its' value. I owned one and sold it for 7k more. It just hangs in there in resale value. Good for Prowler.

Prowler the car to be seen in

by Sports Car Driver from New Jersey on Tue Oct 12 2010

Driving a prowler is not for the faint of heart. It is the car to drive when you want to be noticed. Everyone except for old ladies and space cadets will notice you. Its not a speedster like a corvette, but is not slow either, being light on weight you won't notice that its not a V8 in the engine compartment. But why would you want more speed when the idea of this car is to have people notice and envy you. Everyone has a corvette or a porshe but only 11,000 people have a prowler. The car handles like a true sports car tight and firm and it loves a windy twisty road. Be warned if you buy one of these cars expect to be stopped at every stoplight "what is it?" "who makes it?" "Can I buy one?" "Will you sell it?"
