(The only brand I've owned)

All my life, I've only owned porsches. I have driven some of my friend's cars (mercedes-benz SL-K, Lexus SC430, and the Jaguar XK8) and so far, the only thing that compares to the 2000 porsche boxster is the jaguar. The boxster's control and speed is definately unmatched in it's price range.

Practical and solid sportscar!

Excellent value. Incredibly solid car that is surprisingly practical. Fits all my camping gear for a long weekend camping, and nothing beats driving top down in this car. The 911 may be faster, but only marginally more fun for twice the price. Boxter is a bargain!

Fantastic car

Great car, feel like a Messerschmidt pilot in it. Leaps and bounds better than Corvettes, Vipers, Infinities and such. Quality car through and throught. More power in other cars do not equal more fun or more sports car feel. Just drove the Infinity coupe with a 6speed and it felt soft, slow and boring compared to the Boxter, even with 70 more horses. Not sure where them horses were hiding. Tried the Pontiac GTO as well, and no comments (junk! would be the nicest things to say). Would only consider trading for a Boxter S, or a Carrera S, however the Carrera convertible looks a bit plump on the rear. Needs to loose some weight me thinks. Moment on the lips, lifetime on the hips may pertain to Carreras as well perhaps.
