Very good truck I wish the rear air had adjustable air and the passenger seat had more adjustments otherwise it is a very nice and dependable Truck.

hooked up trailer with short in lights on trailer, blew fuse in truck, replace fuse after finding right ones. now starter will not engage, and all the lights on the shifter light up and it will not shift into park unless I take battery cable off and reconnect and it will let me shift to park ONE time. there is a little red light on speedodmeter I have never seen before also. I think it has something to do with a alarm system

I owed it for 3 years before trade in for a 2500 and value was still there always reliable! Can't go wrong with this truck!

Prior to purchasing this vehicle I had a 2012 Ram 1500 Tradesman Quad Cab with the 4.7 engine. No frills no extras, just an honest pickup. I was definitely satisfied. As time went on I needed some more room. I quickly went back to my local Dodge dealer and looked at a 2014 Ram 1500 Express Crew Cab. Again, no extras or gadgets added. I was shocked by the 5.7 liter engine. It was a huge upgrade from the 4.7 liter in my previous pickup. The extra leg room and storage in the back is great. Fits two people extremely comfortable with room for a third in the middle. The insulated under the floor mat storage is an added plus. I have carried drinks in there for hours and they stay cold with ice packs. Just like mini coolers. There have been more than a few times that I loaded furniture back there with no problems. Believe me when I say it has space. The ride is good and the suspension takes fairly decent size bumps and potholes with ease. The steering is not as crisp as I would like but this is a big pickup, so I was not expecting sport car handling. For a big vehicle it has a tight turn radius, in my opinion. I have only loaded the bed down and hauled furniture and trash to the dump. No matter what I put back there I never feel any difference in handling or fuel mileage. The tow/haul option takes the engine out of ECO mode and puts it to full V8 HEMI greatness with quicker transmission responsiveness. I know if I ever need to do any heavy duty hauling I won't have an issue. When I bought this pickup that was a huge selling point. The tow capacity was unrivaled by any truck in it's class. That HEMI puts in work. This pickup is like driving a poor man's sports car. 395hp is nothing to sneeze at and this thing runs and purrs. The undertones and rumblings of the exhaust add a nice touch even with a stock muffler. Fuel mileage is as expected and pretty close to what the sticker said. I get anywhere from 16mpg in town with heavy stop and go driving to 20mpg on longer stretches. I would say I average about 18mpg I have only had this pickup a little over 2 years and have almost 86,000 miles on it. I have changed the oil every 5-7000 miles and only use full synthetic. Changed the transmission filter and new fluid added around 70, 000. That's it. It still runs like the day I bought it.

under 36k, 2 minor repairs, the door panels are thin and ding easly. 600$ GPS option came with 2012 maps. no update in sight.

The Ram 1500 Sport is solidly built. Has amazing power and with that, incredible fuel efficiency on the hwy and in the city as well. Well set up interior. Comfortable up front as well as in the back.

I have had this truck for about a year, and it has treated me pretty well. I was mostly used to cars and performance cars at that, so it was a drastic change for me. Overall, it has been very reliable and does what I need it to do, though with not much style or luxury. RAMs tend to have the best used prices from what I have seen but that also means resale values are down too, so be sure to take that into consideration, especially if you are considering new.

The truck came equipt with what I needed it for. Drives great and has plenty of power. The tradesman is a good purchase, will upgrade into a 3500 later.
