i like being up high and like that it s simple to run. Its still new BUT i like being in the car now.. i am excited to save money on gas and to have a hybrid and do my part to help climate change.

Once a Toyota girl, always a Toyota girl

I have always had Toyotas. Started with a 96 Camry, 03 matrix, 06 Prius but then I needed a car quick after a total loss and ended up with a Honda insight. There was nothing wrong with it, just wasn't for me. Since then I have had 2 kids and finally started looking for a newer, bigger car. I played around with the thought of a Prius or going big with a Highlander. During my search I stumbled on the Prius V. I had heard of it, it was a bigger Prius. So I found one, at a great price with basically no miles (especially for a Toyota!) It is night and day. While the insight did perform better in terms of acceleration and it looks sportier, I would buy a Prius V every time. It is so much more comfortable to drive, has SO much more room than the insight and regular Prius. I'm averaging 45mpg (a lot of highway) which is 10 mpg more than the insight. The kids huge carseats fit with more than enough room for them and anyone in the front seat. The back hatch fits my double jogging stroller with ease. The back seats recline, 60/40 split and are on a track to move up and back. The interface is extremely user friendly. I only gave it 4 stars in the performance category only bc I've driven a higher performing hybrid. But let's be honest, if you are buying a hybrid, it's not to win drag races.

Great vehicle

Our second Prious. Very comfortable seating and ride. Easy entry for us mid 70's seniors. First Prious traded at 90K miles with no major repairs.

Drives great, good cargo space

I just upgraded to a used toyota prius V. My last car was a toyota camry. Sits a little higher and very roomy. Excellent gas mileage. Nice and quiet as well.

Reliability and Mileage

Roomy interior, but not very comfy or plush. Bought for good mileage, but far from what was advertised and I am a 70 yo grandma nurse!

very reliable car

The Toyota Prius v is great compared to other cars have used. Selling points is its higher seating position, and that's no small thing in an SUV-saturated era.
