first of all the only thing I wasn't too happy about is that the front seats didn't recline more. Long road trips wasn't as comfortable especially for the passengers trying to sleep. Other than that, well, where do I start? Mine happened to be a 3.2L V6, therefore I was never short on power. Those situations where you suddenly have to pass a vehicle on the highway was no sweat. It's basically a race car that is also a hard-top convertible!!!! I test drove the 2.0T prior to purchasing my 3.2L, and I tell ya. What a difference!! 3.2L is worth every penny more. With all the bells and whistles that this car has I thought there were more electronics than mechanical parts. Rain sensing windshield wipers, auto climate control, adaptive xenon headlights, navigation, auto dimming mirrors, heated seats, and on and on. It even looks like a transformer robot machine with the whole roof mechanism folding/unfolding out of the trunk. Surprised it doesn't drive by it self. I love it!

I have owned a 2008 Eos for over 2 yrs. now. There has only been one issue that VW acknowledges and will be doing a free fix for. The car is comfortable and extremely fun to drive. Has great pep and always gets stares. 2 adults can sit in the back comfortably and the roof has worked flawlessly thus far. I would buy the car again and certainly recommend it.

I just bought an eos this year and I love it!! I have had convertibles for over 30 years and this is the best one ever. The hard top is great and it even has a sunroof for when you want some air but don't want to put the top down. I have a 6 speed and it shifts great and drives really smooth. I would highly recommend the eos to anyone.

We have had the car now for about 3 months and my daughter loved it from the first time she laid eyes on it. It drives very well. It is a safe reliable car and looks very good too. We are very happy with this car and I am very glad I went to Cars.com to look for this car. I would recommend Cars.com to anyone looking for a good used car and I would also say to make sure and do your homework.

Bought my eos in May 2007 and put 15000 mi's on it so far. Fun car to drive! Not a winter car. Handles ok, but top is very noisy in cold weather. Drivers side window is acting up. Window drops when car is unlocked but does not always go back up after entering car. Sometimes stays dropped after locking car. Hope its minor. This is my 5th VW. Love the brand!

Traded a SC430 for the EOS Lux. The EOS is just as much fun as the SC430 with a $30K smaller price tag. The EOS back seat will accomadate two adults where the SC 430 back seat is good only for pets or packages. Do yourself a favor and buy the EOS and put the money you save in the bank.

When preparing for my latest purchase I was so inspired by the VW sports car. The power and quickness is good but after driving this vehicle for a couple thousand miles I noticed more road noise little plastic pieces in the interior that were making "Rattling" noises. The car goes through alot of oil. I suggest using Mobile 1 Synthetic oil. Be careful if your window motor goes bad expect to be spending around $500 for the window motor.

To have a hardtop convertible vehicle become my daily commute vehicle has been one of the most surprising cars I've ever owned. Purchased a used 2007 Eos in March 2015. The car had 92000 miles and had been previously a certified used vehicle before I purhcased it. It runs superbly with great gas mileage and a surprising amount of on demand power. You don't think of it as a sports car but it is. It handles well, picks up speed when you need it and sips gas like an economy car. Can't wait to take full advantage of upcoming summer months and drive with top down. My only complaint has been with excessive rain. It does drip through the seals. I will have to clean the seals to alleviate this issue. Other than that, I love the car. One of the most innovative cars every made by Volkswagen.
