Most reliable Cars I own

It?s a great car and I really don?t have any negative things about it. I have a blast with my 2018 GTI golf only because it?s a sports car

Best all-in-one package

I have to admit, at 1st I felt a little ... teenage-ish, when getting this hot-hatch ... at 40. But, after 35k miles, it is the best all-in-one car i've owned. 1) fun .... 300hp & 280ish torque is just a perfect power for a FWD car and stick xxxx 2) perfectly balanced. the steering, does not feel FWD. you can't quite drift this thing w/out using a hand break, but ... best FWD handling car 3) real Sport, Utility, Vehicle. Whenever you want to take it to the track, move furniture, or drive it to work with the kids. It does it all 4) German engineering. This is gen 7 ... perfected: ergonomics, carPlay, safety

Funnest car I owned

This car is very fun to drive and I feel like is the most reliable out of the VW family. Minor issues like ignition coil going bad but other than that the car has been fantastic. If you do buy it I recommend a manual transmission.

2017 VW GTI Base

I've owned this car for 10 months and love it. Although I was tempted to get the auto transmission, I rolled the dice with the automatic, since I had previously had a great experience with the dual clutch transmission in a VW diesel I owned. Let's just say a great transmission mated to some substantial horsepower and torque is the cat's meow. The ONLY drawback to this vehicle was the fact that the base model only came with cloth seats. I have dogs so was bummed. Since I plan to drive this car into oblivion, opted to have two-tone leather aftermarket installed. . . Perfect.

Fun for an automatic

I have loved owning my GTI. I was reluctant to buy an automatic as I have owned a manual for 15 years. But the paddle shifters are really fun and very quick.

Best in it's class, bar none.

The GTI feels solid, not cheaply made. No weird noises or cheap plastic vibrating. There is enough room for bigger than your average passenger. In today's world it is the perfect Ubber/ Lyft ride. I can fit just about anything in the trunk. With the seats folded down I fit my 58" mountain bike inside with ease. The handling is superior to others in it's class, even though it's higher than most cars it I feel like I can take any corner without oversteer. Exterior looks haven't changed much but they're subtle enough to know it is an MKVI. It does not look like a normal sports car hence once you sit in it and grasp the leather steering wheel, press on the gas pedal and let the turbo whine up to 3000 rpm it feels different to it's exterior looks, you're now in a zippy hatchback that was meant for a busy city street. You almost want to treat this car as a weekend car to preserve it, yet I don't mind it being my everyday driver.

The best driving car! So fun!

This GTI is a 2016 hatchback. It's fast and has a DSG transmission. Gas efficient and super fun to drive. It handles like a dream and has recall seats. So comfortable! I just bought a 2018 so I'm selling this one ! Great deal.

Loving my new 2017 GTI

I really love my new GTI. I used to own a 2001 VW Golf, and after a few years in a Dodge, decided to come back to the VW family. This car is everything I loved about the Golf, with some extra added zip. Its quick, it handles well, and I surprisingly fit a 6' tall man in the front passenger seat, and two 5'10" men in the backseat with plenty of leg room. The only complaint so far is that my 6' significant other believes the front bucket seats are a bit too narrow for him. So if buying this car, make sure you sit in the front seat for an extended period of time before purchasing it, a bigger person may not find the seats to be comfortable.

Terrific car it's actually a 2015

Faster than the previous model I owned, a 2002, both very reliable and the auto barn is a great service department and dealer.

the gti lives up to it's reputation

As a life long owner of muscle/sports cars as well as trucks, sedans & suv's I have been converted and i'm a fan of the GTI now. It does everything you ask of it and more. It's sporty when you need it, docile when you want to drive relaxed, can carry 5 passangers, handles great for a fwd car, the best i've driven actually. Understated, sophisticated, mature styling. You can't go wrong with a GTI. it's a utilitarian drivers car.
