I went to Carmax on 4th of July. The place was not super packed, so that was great. We had a little 9th month old on tow, and were nervous that it would take us all day to shop. The only thing that took a lot of time was waiting for a sales man. Apparently, the new young guys at the front were more interested in flirting (yes flirting) with each other and playing around than realizing that we needed help or just plainly asking us if we were being helped. That really bothered me, as we wasted 30 mins just sitting dumb. The front desk girl was no help.. she was the one to tell us to sit and wait and then no where to be seen. Finally someone professional and extremely courteous walked by ... the service manager. He quickly apologized for our wait, and brought along Daniel Claudio. I am SOOOOOOOOOOOooooO thankful he did. Danny was professional, kind, humble, hard-working, and just all the way a pleasure to work with. He represented Carmax the way it should be. He took the details of what we were looking for and walked us around to cars that would fit our needs. The second car (nissan pathfinder) was a recommendation from him... and that was the car we bought. Danny if you're reading this... THANK YOU! You're such a great employee and that deserves recognition.

Last weekend, I purchased my third car with Acura Carland and I have to say, there has been a complete turn around here. Previous experiences had me not wanting to even step foot in this dealership, but I am SO glad I did! I walked in not expecting much, but not only were they able to help with concerns I had with my old car, they were able to get me into a new one that fit all of my needs. Thank you Robert, Jimmy, and Primevere for taking care of me and making me feel apart of Acura Carland. I honestly can not say enough amazing things about you all. I also have to mention that the service department is great as well. I had an issue with my apt. complex and parking the loaner car and Lakisha took care of it, no questions asked. I had bought several used cars, but this was my first new one. It was easy to find our Atlas on Cars.com, and just as easy to reserve it. The whole experience from internet to facilities to people was great.
I made an appointment for a Saturday and was told the service would take an hour and a half. It ended up to be a four hour wait. My service representative was great and apologized, but I think this was a little excessive for a routine service.
The car buying experience here was amazing, I can appreciate the since of urgency when you hit the lot. If you're looking for a hassle free, quick process and quality cars, this is your place. Truly satisfied! Thanks Olympic
I worked with Jan from Carvana- she was able to explain to me the process, make sure I was comfortable with where it was at, was able to be reached and kept communication open. The pick up process went smoothly and I was able to sell my car without any glitches.
After visiting several of the typical dealerships I walked away confused and Unsatisfied. After visiting Carvana.com I picked out a vehicle to my liking and price point fill out the paperwork got approval I had my new vehicle delivered to my front door. Most typical dealerships you spend half a day walking away with an overpriced vehicle in an overpriced interest-rate. Victoria was very nice! We drove 4 hours to test drive our car and she stayed after and waited for us to get there. Then showed us all the features on the car and allowed us to test drive. The vehicle was nice and very clean.
We were very impressed with Byron’s laid back approach. Showing me the product I was looking for and trusting me to take the van for a test drive gave my husband an opportunity to see our future purchase. The process began on a Wednesday and we were official proud owners of a white Honda Odyssey by Saturday. We Love it.
Post sales has not been as smooth. We were promised replacement caps for the vehicle that have yet to be replaced. The caps are not required for the van to run but they are cosmetic and a deal is a deal. We did not haggle when discussing price. We asked for a cap to cover the back seat legs and a key fob. My husband paid $100 extra dollars to to get an extra fob made for the van. The owner paid the $100 back in cash and said he did not want to deal with it post issuesbarebyour problem and not the problem of the dealership even if it was part of the agreement before the car was purchased.
Overall, i would do business with this dealership again. I never felt pressured by Byron therefore I feel like the van was our decision to buy and not some high pressure shady dealers decision. Thanks Byron.
The car was exactly as advertised. I drove from SC to Atlanta to see the car. I had spoken to Dianne on the phone and she had the car ready to go. The whole transaction was effortless. After the test drive I was driving the vehicle home in 45 minutes. Enjoyed the experience.
George was very helpful in my decision to buy this car, but sometimes follow through with promises were lacking. Still after a week my trade has not been paid for and the car I bought is still being advertised. They assured me there is no problem but I never saw the completion of the sale go so slow. More communication would be nice.
Most personable person I’ve dealt with in 30 years of buying vehicles. In and out in less than an hour. He was by far the most helpful and honest person to buy a vehicle from. He wouldn’t ty to sway you or pressure you. Just shot it to you straight. His setup is extremely professional and well thought out. All vehicles are garage kept and meticulously maintained. Provided he has something in his inventory I’m interested in I will definitely be making a special trip to GA to buy again from him.
