I bought a pre owned a vehicle from this dealer. The employees were very friendly and attentive and I was able to get my vehicle the same day. Jeff answered any questions I had and made sure the purchase went smoothly. The car is in great shape and is still running well. However, there were some issues I ran into. First and foremost, a big issue I had was communication. Sure everything before the purchase they answered my every need but afterwards it was very difficult to get a hold of someone. My windshield needed to be replaced but every time I would call either the person in charge wasn't available or they needed to transfer me to someone else. Finally got it replaced but there is a small scratch on it which the person said they'd reach out to me to get it replaced again. Have yet to hear from them. Same thing with the financial manager of my purchase. Gave me her personal number but when i reached out to her, no response. I have yet to get a response from her. Overall, my experience was good. Their customer service is really good and it wasn't a tedious process to get my vehicle. One thing I would recommend is to check everything under the hood and ask if you're not familiar. My car was given to me with very little coolant and it started overheating. It was a simple solution but at no point was I told that the car needed to have coolant added. This, in my opinion, is something the dealer should've taken care of prior to the sale. Work on your communication with customers post car purchase and you can definitely be a great dealership. Nonetheless, the car was amazing and the price was very fair.

Have had to have it towed 3 times to dealer due to transmission problems. 2nd tow had new transmission put in with less than 5,000 miles on it. Transmission warning light came on again for a 3rd time and had to have it towed. Now waiting, while driving a rental, to see what Acura company is going to do about it. Very sad that this could happen with a new car. Wife likes the car but has fears when driving it that it’ll break down. The car has nice features but just isn’t very safe when transmission warning lights come on and tell you to pull over immediately and don’t drive it. Especially if it happens in a dark seedy area which is exactly what happened to my wife the 1st time.
Muy buena atención, escucharon mis necesidades , y en breve pudieron cumplirlas. Todo el personal de los distintos departamentos fueron amigables y atentos. Estoy muy satisfecha con mi vehículo y con el trato.

Worst experience buying a car. The Acura had several problems with the transmission and they said it was "normal" on all the cars. The acuras come with a German transmission and they shift very hard.. It's uncomfortable for everyone in the car..
Quick and easy, very friendly, love the environment!

I was specifically looking at the 2016 model because of the features it offered. The Volvo dealership gave me an opportunity to make my dream come true. In fact, I had so much confidence in them after my initial visit, that I came down to Florida from Wisconsin to purchase the car.
This is my first Acura and I can not be more satisfied with my purchase. From the minute I arrived to when I signed my deal, everything was top notch. I want to thank David Gonzalez for helping me get the best deal I could've gotten. Thanks again for an excellent experience.

feel very safe in it. was involved in a minor accident and minimal damage . very comfortable especially when sitting in traffic for long periods of time.
I was very impressed with my experience at the Rio Grande Valley Acura dealership. I was initially greeted by their welcoming staff and was guided through making the final decision of purchasing a car. Marco Rodriguez was incredibly knowledgeable and sought to ensure that the vehicle that I was interested in was right for me. He was patient, professional, and kind. My experience far exceeded expectations and am excited to own an Acura.

This car is great for a small family. 3 adults fit comfortably in back. Love it! Runs amazing, takes off quickly. Smooth ride kids love it too
I was immediately entertained the minute I entered the dealership. Agents were quite friendly & helpful in assisting me find the perfect vehicle I wanted. I was given ample time to test drive with a very knowledgeable agent. It was a very positive experience, no wonder this was the 2nd car I got within the year in the same dealership.
A Reliable Car With Minor Issues

I pretty much like the Honda stuff and this vehicle is no exception. The problems that I have with the RDX are relatively minor. The fit between the front bumper and front fenders are terrible as well as the fit between the hood and the top of the fenders, uneven gaps and problems lining up. If you have the front widows rolled partially down, they rattle when closing the doors. Very unhappy with the NAV system. It never responds to voice commands and is very quirky as well as the maps are very antiquated looking. A bit tight inside the cabin as well as very little storage space and the fuel door release control is so far down at the floor that anyone with a bad back will have a problem activating it. But on the positive side, it runs and shifts smoothly with only an occassional hiccup in the transmission when it appears to get confused. For whatever reason Honda just refuses to fully engage and commit to the Luxury car market with Acura. They are nice cars but I don't consider them much different that a less expensive Honda. For the money that they ask for these Acura's, better cars can be had.
This is my second vehicle that I???ve purchase at Acura of the Rio Grande Valley. Very impressed with their overall service. Awesome customer service.

I very happy with this car. I don't have the same complaints as other owners, but feel the car is comfortable enough for a low-end luxury car. The only problem is of my own making; I paid a little too much for this car, and should have done more homework before shopping for one. Since I drive less than 3,000 per year, I'm hoping this will be my last car. The 2006 Acura TL I had dropped the transmission, so I sold it to the repair shop owner. It would have cost $4,000 to replace the transmission on a $7,000 car.
David the Sales consultant that help us was polite, engaging, and professional towards our decision to buy a car, we ended up buying 2 and our expectations were surpassed at the model the price and the service.. Thank you again for such excellent deal.

We have purchased Honda vehicles for years and stepped up to the Acura. We compared to Mercedes, Audi and other high end cars. Standard features were typically add on at the other manufacturers that raised the price. Reliability of the MDX is legendary.
You really cant beat the ILX for the price. Other cars with much less cost much more. The car is tight with no squeaks or rattles. Interior has everything you need. This is the 3rd ILX we've gotten in a row.
I test drove several SUVs before deciding on the Acura RDX. It has comfortable seats that accommodate my 6'2" husband and me who's 5'3". Great backup camera & driver assist features. I was pleasantly surprised by the affordability, plus I get great gas mileage even though it's a 6 cylinder. I have no regrets in choosing this vehicle. It will be my next vehicle choice as well.
I own this car for almost 10 months and I was surprised about the amount of technology and reliability you have in this car. I was looking for Audi A3 (middle version) and mercedez CLA250, Audi for this similar price doesn't offer half of the technology and Mercedes is way more expensive and has a little bit rough driving (but it is nice looking too). I went to a dealership to look at the other options, when I went for the test drive on the ILX, I was impressed about everything around the car. Also, it is important to say that the maintenance is waaaay cheaper than the german cars. If you are looking to impress and have a luxury car and high tech, this car is the one to go
Excellent look and style. Great performance in the 4 cylinder model...excellent fit and finish of this car. Great gas mileage and very dependable with the Acura name!
