We ended up buying our oldest child's first car the same day in a short time. They had so many sales that day it took longer to prep the car for delivery than it took to close the sale and sign all the papers. Rees was my greeter and was an excellent source of information and sales expediter. Rees explained the CarMax process and then Listened to the car features I required. He did searches of car max inventory, searches of manufacturers’ sites for additional info, and requested transfer of a vehicle from another location. There was no pressure to buy (CarMax has a five day return policy). Paperwork was efficient, and I even got help getting both the car I bought and the car I arrived in home. It was my first solo car buying experience so I especially appreciated that I got a car that suited me at a fair price and no hassle
I worked with Jan from Carvana- she was able to explain to me the process, make sure I was comfortable with where it was at, was able to be reached and kept communication open. The pick up process went smoothly and I was able to sell my car without any glitches.
Dean Francis and the finance staff were very helpful. They were great about financing with whichever bank you want to work with. I received a fair deal for my trade and the price was right on the used vehicle that I purchased. I had one trade offer for my vehicle elsewhere that was higher,but the Helfman offer was the same as two others for my trade. Even so, the deal at Helfman was better. There are too many factors to list and they did NOT try to sell me anything I did not need. As a bonus, Unlike some dealers, my used vehicle at Helfman actually had floor mats and BOTH keys to the car. They have a big selection of sports cars and I am very happy with my experience. Sent an email via the Cars.com system, got an automated email that they rec'd the email, and then a few days later another automated email from the GM (?) of the dealership to see if the salesman had contacted me. I replied that I was interested in the car but didn't hear back. I'm NOT a local to their area so maybe they dismiss those requests.
I made the deal with Wade via email—he was prompt in his responses and made it very easy! He handed off to Chase who met me at the airport and in a matter of a several hours I was driving my vehicle to Minnesota!!
