We were buying a car for my daughter to replace the one that was totaled when she was rear-ended. Of course the insurance company did not give her enough money to replace her car, so we were shopping under a lot of stress. The first contact from the Audi dealership was with Julian Thornton. He could not have been any more pleasant and helpful. Even his texts back and forth were friendly. He guided me through a very nice test ride off of the crazy-busy road the dealership was located on. It gave me the chance to pay attention to the car instead of all the traffic. He answered any questions I had and found the answers to any he was unsure about. The manager came over and introduced himself. He was also able to answer a few more questions I had. We were buying a used Toyota Prius from an Audi dealership which felt a little silly to us, but we might as well been buying a brand new Audi for all the attention and care they gave us. The dealership was immaculate, as was the car, so I came back with my daughter the following day. Julian was busy with another customer, so he introduced us to James Coffin who would work with us. I was a little disappointed that we would not be able to work with Julian, but James was every bit as pleasant and helpful as Julian. He took my daughter for a nice test-ride, again, on the calmer side roads behind the busy road the dealership was on. Everything went well, so I told her to choose between the Prius we had seen earlier in the week, and the one she just test drove. The bottom line is the deciding factor was that we both felt better giving our money to a dealership that was so helpful, friendly, and pressure free. If I can ever afford an Audi, there will be no question as to where I shop. The only issue I have is that there was no flexibility on the price. We are so strapped for cash, that it would have been incredibly helpful if we could have gotten the price down a bit.
