The BMW 128i is an amazing sports car that is fun to drive and more than reliable on the road. This car handles very well and feels very balanced. The interior is very conservative but this is okay because most of the time you are enjoying the way it drives, especially if you have the manual transmission.

The 128 is not large but it has all the comfort features. 128s are priced higher than they deserve. The one I drove was beautiful inside and out, but when I nailed the accelerator, I could have gone for coffee waiting for it to hit 60. It had a regular 6-speed automatic, and I suspect the manual shift would be more satisfying. I bought a 1351.

This is not your typical used car dealership where you are greeted by a guy in a fancy suit and sit you down with the four square scam tactic. I spoke with the owner Tyler several times before i decided to put a deposit down and fly 2 hrs to pick up the car. Tyler is first and foremost a MECHANIC, not a salesman so all the cars in the lot is hand picked and inspected by JVB Auto before putting it out for sale. It gave me a peace of mind knowing that it is a 3rd generation family business (you gotta be doing something right to do it this long) and that the family are all automotive enthusiasts. My car had no problem making the 800+ miles trip back up north, before I left, their service was above and beyond where they help me drop off my rental car at the return location. Thank you Tyler and your family again for such an awesome car and a wonderful experience.

Car shopping is not fun, but it's a lot better when the experience is made better by kind salesmen. My car was totaled several weeks ago and I was getting increasingly annoyed about how hard it was to find a new (to me) car. After calling multiple dealerships and not getting calls or emails back, setting up test drives and arriving from 50 miles away to find that cars aren't actually available or not pulled up like they said, I finally found Chris at Cars R Us. I called from about 30 minutes out and said I was interested in the 2015 Chevy Sonic posted online and he immediately said he'd have it pulled out for us to test. For once, this was actually true when someone said it! It was a good start, especially considering their lot is small and crowded and it would have been annoying if we had to wait for it to be pulled out. The test drive went great, he was extremely informative and genuinely easy to interact with (not always easy to say about salesmen). When we did an inspection of the vehicle we found that it was missing a spare tire, which he offered to have one put in without me even having to ask. I was really interested in purchasing the car, but found that the touch screen radio was having issues and actually had been recalled for that specific vehicle. He personally took it to the dealership to have it replaced before we officially purchased. While the process was a little slow from start to finish considering I didn't have a vehicle in the meantime (two weeks total, one week waiting on this car) it was totally okay since Chris was such a pleasant person to work with. He answered all of my questions, listened to my concerns, and even wrote on the paperwork that if I drove the car home and found something I didn't like he wouldn't push the final sale through. I found him to be very honest and really appreciate the attention he gave to my situation. Thanks Chris, and thanks Cars R Us. Great employees really do make a difference.

I have have gone in the last 10 years from a 2004 Miata LS to a 2006 Audi S-4 now to a 2013 128 i. Could not fit comfortably in the Miata, did not like the light steering feel and weight of the S-4, but those issues are solved with my M packaged 128i convertible MT. Purchased the car 11 months ago from a BMW dealer with 18 K on the odometer, essentially a new car. Speakers not working properly perhaps loose connections.

As with all reviews, the performance on this convertible is spot on. The acceleration and driving is excellent. This did not come with the upgraded seats so it's not as comfortable as I would have liked. The look is great and the interior does have some rattling, but that was a nonissue once you press on that pedal!

At October 2017, I purchased my 1st Jaguar. I had reservation only because what others had said and the reviews I had read. More things not positive from other owners. But I've watched the line-up for the jaguar XE & XF and I was very impressed. Once I saw the new design of 2017, I was really sold because I wanted to get off the ground from our big SUV Toyota Sequoia. Well it would have to happen to me. The first couple day I take my car home the Navigation is not functioning correctly. I took the XE to Jaguar dealer, they give me the loaner car to drive and said all should be fixed by couple day. I was still ok because. They provide to me the new loaner car to drive. I spoke with the sales Manager Chris Cutting and he said "Kia, this is not supposed to happen and I give you my word. Give us a couple more days and Jaguar and this Dealership (Jacksonville FL Jaguar dealer) will make it right." By next day afternoon my XE was ready and not only that Jaguar Service Manager Mr. Robert and Mrs. Cindy have been in contact with me about the vehicle, Chris Cutting and dealer managements had provided us with loaner new jaguar car and inconvenience full tank gas gift for my time spent. Which they didn't have to do that. I just wanted to be able to say thanks to them and show off my New XE Jaguar to everyone. So, in that time my XE was at shop for getting navigation fix, the jaguar dealer gives us the loaner car, I had brand new jaguar XF for couple day to drive, my wife and I were sold out with that new XF. We end up to call Chris Cutting my sale person and spoke with him and dealer manager Mr. Mike to upgrade my brand new 2017 XE 2.5 after less than three weeks to brand new 2017 XF 2.0d. and they give us unbelievable deal on that. We love our new jaguar 2017 XF 2.0d. This is so crazy, it never happened to me and my wife too upgrade new car after three weeks to same brand and same type car, Just bigger one. This will can tell everyone how the sale person (Chris Cutting & Jag dealer managements & service) are good to people. So, what am I saying, some things are really unforeseen, had we known it would have happened to us we would have gone in a different direction. This vehicle offers so much more than what I received with Toyota & other cars we ever had, As far as 5years service plan, stolen vehicle protection for free and InControl APP for anywhere of world to do start engine and control heat and cold and see journeys of the car & …anything in car End, No one can try to sale us any other car products once I purchased the Jaguar. Go to Jacksonville FL Jaguar dealer see Chris Cutting and management Mr. Mike and if you need service see Mr. Robert & Mrs. Cindy. I had been searching nationwide for a VW Phaeton for roughly a year. Found what i hope is a decent example from this dealership. Jim was extremely helpful and the transaction went seamlessly. Trusting someone when buying a car across the country is something difficult to do when being able to inspect or visualize the car in person isn't an option. For the price i am extremely satisfied and barring anything outside of expected condition of an older car - i fully assume to be pleased with the entire purchase. Jim was responsive and answered any of the questions that I had and has followed through to help make sure the vehicle is loaded and shipped my direction. Barring a non-running vehicle upon arrival I don't see why I wouldn't highly recommend doing business with this dealership! To date the experience has been fantastic!

My husband told me about Carvana from a commercial ad he heard/saw. I laughed about it and said 'yah right, there's gotta be a hitch somewhere'. A few weeks later, he brought up Carvana again....curious, I decided to check it out online. The key words there was 'check it out'. I ended up buying a vehicle a couple hours later. Yeup, it was just like that. No hassle, no hidden costs or agendas. So after reviewing everything on the site, I started looking at minivans....I started falling in love with minivans....I started buying minivans....all through carvana. Once I locked in the one I wanted, I went through the credit process, documentation process, and pick up date (I chose pick up - because at this point, I still felt a little 'leary' about the whole deal'. It was so simple, and so honest, and so real. Over the course of the next 24 hours, all my submitted documents were approved and we just had two days to go to pick up the new mininvan. When we got to the store, it's not like a dealership with a lot, but it had three beautiful, well lit, very clean, showroom like bays that your vehicle is sitting in for your to do a complete inspection of it. It was very classy. Please note, our particular location does not have the car vending machine just yet. After passing our over check, I hopped in the car and drove it 65 miles home. She ran like a charm and I knew I had 7 days to decide if I wanted to keep her not. At day 3, although I loved her, she didn't have all the bells and whistles I truly wanted so that evening, I was back on the Carvana site, shopping for a replacement minivan....it's so easy to do when it gives you results based on your financial settings....I found the new 'her' a few hours later. I ordered her up and made the quick call explaining I was swapping and chose to have the vehicle delivered instead of going there to save time. The whole swap process took 2 days...they pulled up right to my house with my next new minivan. In my eyes, she was perfect, but I found a flaw before she was even off the truck. There was a huge bolt in the back tire. I was so disappointed. But Carvana took care of that so amazingly over the top.....they still brought her off the truck so I can check out the interior, test drive it, etc. We found a few more things that we felt should be fixed...minor things. Carvana took note of the items, and took the vehicle back on the truck but promised me (because I really wanted her that day) they would bring her back with a new tire....they kept their promise, three hours later she was back with a brand new tire, not one, but TWO brand new back tires. And they put an extra Carvana cup in the car for me. They swapped the minivans and off the old one went and there I sat with the new one. Smile ear to ear. I worked with Carvana on 6 items that we believed needed repair before committing to keep the vehicle. Carvana went above and beyond. I got an estimate for the repairs at a local shop, Carvana approved it, and within a few weeks, all repairs were completed through Carvana and I have the perfect vehicle, no hassle, no hidden agendas. And every person I dealt with on the phone or in person were ABSOLUTELY AMAZING, FRIENDLY, HELPFUL, AND JUST THE BEST!! My Carvana experience was the absolute best. I will never go back to buying a car the old 'car dealership' way. And ironically, we had bought our other vehicle from a dealership just 3 months before being introduced to Carvana. I will give one warning about buying a vehicle through Carvana this way....it can be addicting..lol :-) Yes, I still shop Carvana cars every now and then....I don't even need a car, I just love seeing what Carvana has because it was sooo simple :-) Thank you Carvana for a trememdously wonderful experience.

This is our 4th BMW and our first 1 series. We drove one in Europe and liked it so much we came back and bought one. The 128 is extremely fast and nimble. The only fault with the car is the top goes down and up relatively slowly. But it is BMW through and through, with all the bells and whistles yo'd expect.

BMW pocket sports sedan

Great car. Good performance. very comfortable with the optional BMW Sport Seats. Getting 27 mpg driving responsibly. Up to now I have only driven this car for fun cause I had a "beater" to drive on errands, so my reliability rating is only based on 8k mi. Great motor, great handling, I have the M option so a little better than standard. It's a little stiff at low speeds on bumpy pavement but that might be because of the run flat tires. What BMW does wrong? No: dipstick, temperature gauge, ammeter, spare tire and NO limited slip differential which I really miss in a "Sports Sedan". You can cruise effortlessly at 80 mph and the car tracks nice and straight. In fact the faster you go the more comfortable it is. It has a "hill holder" clutch on it which I do not like. It prevents the car from rolling back wards on a hill. Having learned how to drive a stick the right way, this little assist is off putting and feels unnatural. The computer controlled throttle makes it very difficult to "heal and toe" which is really annoying in the "ultimate sports sedan". Now let's talk about corporate BMW. It's hard not to feel taken advantage of. You can't even change the battery without hooking it up to a BMW computer. That's not necessary and it's just wrong. I feel very much BMW wants to corral all the customers into the dealer service bay to keep the dealers solvent. I have two floor jacks and a dozen jack stands and I can't put this car on stands. If you jack it on the jacking points, there's no place to put the stands, believe it or not. You can't get to the underside because you can't put it on stands and can't get it high enough to take the aerodynamic pan off from under the front of the car so, you can't put the stands under the suspension because the pan blocks this. The only way you can get this car up to work on it is on a lift. It's a great driving car but it will be my last BMW.
