I owned 4 Lexus cars/SUVs over 20+ years; bought from Lexus of Dublin. Service is good; but part pricing is expensive & gouges customers. Examples: replace engine air filter for $68.40++ (part is about $20); replace left/right front upper control arm part is $500 and total service is $800/EACH (BeckArnly part on RockAuto is $90); Timing Belt service is quoted $1,519 and part kit on RockAuto is $275 including water pump; wiper blades are $12/each, but installed vary from $25 or more; headlight level sensor/arm replace quoted at $1200, bot part on RockAuto for $170 and replaced myself (and I am not a car repair person). Purchase of most any part is extremely expensive; gouges the customer who paid a lot for the Lexus already; and prices are prone to cause "heart attacks".
I'm from Cleveland, OH and drove all the way to Columbus to purchase my RX, even though there are three Lexus dealerships closer to me. They have an amazing inventory and the best prices in the State. Ralph was an excellent salesman, he was honest and a pleasure to work with! I highly recommend Germain Lexus of Easton for your next Lexus purchase!
Bought a Passat for my daughter and was told that the center caps for the wheels were already ordered. While completing paperwork to purchase car, I was told the center caps would be sent to me after they come in. It was actually in the contract of what they owe me as the purchaser. I never received center caps. I called 3 different times and each time they say they are going to send them. Still haven’t received. I purchased the car in June. It is August.
I had such a wonderful experience buying my used CRV from here !!! I would HIGHLY recommend you shop here first !!! Very honest and upfront about the vehicle I bought. Well worth the drive from Dayton to Delaware. Once this car needs replaced, I know right where I am going to buy another auto !!! Thanks Kim & Mathias !!!
I spoke with Jeff from my home 2.5 hours away about a car on their lot. I don't normally buy cars so far away but was impressed with the cars.com customer ratings for Village Car Store, and they had a specialty car I was interested in. Jeff was friendly and professional. He explained how that car was acquired and how they buy cars in general, so I decided to dedicate a day to checking it out.
As I inspected the car, I detected a coolant leak, along with another potential problem. I intended to walk away, but Jeff very professionally investigated with me the concerns I raised. They made a lift available to check out the problem on the spot. We both researched likely costs for the repair. Since I could not take another day off to return for the car later, they reduced the price of the car by the cost of the estimates for the repair and I drove it home that day.
Based on my experience, I would recommend Jeff and Village Car Store to other customers.
Great experience from start to finish! During the test drive, I noticed a noise in one of the front wheels. My salesman (Mike Khurshid) noticed it too. He said he would have their service dept look at it the next day. He called back to say that the tires were mismatched, so they put 4 brand new tires on the car (no additional charge). When he drove it again, the noise was gone. I was just going to pick up the car, but he insisted I drive it again myself to make sure the noise was gone. This was a small sale for CarMax, but everyone there made me feel I was the most important customer they had that day. I left with my new car, and a handful of Mike's business cards to give to friends!
