I was travelling on IH-10 when another driver pulled up next to me and shouted out his window, 'Hey! Your truck is smoking!' I immediately pulled off the highway and into the nearest parking space I could find. AAA towed my 2014 Silverado to the service department at Freedom Chevrolet just after closing time (6pm) on a Friday evening (12/16/16). I spoke with Service Manager, David Cleckler on the phone, who was very polite, professional, and responsive. He waited on the wrecker to arrive, updated me the next morning on the findings and had the repairs completed by Saturday afternoon, less than 24 hrs later! I found that rather remarkable, given they replaced the water pump w/coolant reservoir, three broken belts (all under warranty), and also completed an oil change, replaced the air filter, wiper blades, and a license plate lightbulb. David was not there when I picked up my vehicle, but the staff members on duty at the time were equally friendly, speedy, and accommodating.
It is this kind of customer service that sets folks apart these days, when it seems like customer service is a lost art! My compliments to this dealership, because I know, as a business owner myself, that this professionalism and service emphasis starts at the top of the organization and permeates the entire ranks. Great job!
