I live in Richmond and my daughter blew a tire on her Mini in Charlottesville and was stuck on the side of the road. I found BMW of Charlottesville on the web and called them. The service team found a tire, ordered it and installed in within a few hours to get her back on the road home, all with a friendly attitude. I was more than impressed.
After several bad experiences with trying to buy a used car at other dealers, and after an especially bad morning event that day, I responded to an online ad via text from my car. Within minutes Jason had responded to me via text, and we arranged a trip to the dealer. Jason was very easy to deal with, understood our primary needs in a car, was willing to negotiate, and even took care of a minor upholstery repair. The really excellent service followed over the next week, when the car unexpectedly developed locking and battery issues. We took the car back in for repair, and everything was repaired and covered as part of the original sale. While it was being repaired, Jason called me every day to update me as to the status, and this was without question the best service I have ever had from a dealer. I think what I valued the most was I was treated with utmost respect during the entire process. If I could give 10 stars, I would!
I can???t say enough about Ashley and Tim at Princeton BMW. They went beyond out of their way to help me with an emergency situatio. I didn???t have to wait long at all (without an appointment) to handle my situation. They are extremely professional and very helpful. I highly recommend them for everything.

I purchased a used 2014 Audi Q5 Tdi for from David Josephson and Tarek at Gallery BMW back in August for my mother. She had a few issues with the car and I was beginning to think I'd bought a lemon. She lives in NH and David sent up a loaner car for her, took the Q5 back to his shop, ordered parts from Germany and fixed EVERYTHING! The car has been absolutely PERFECT since. David Josephson went above and beyond what I'd expect any used car dealer to do. He was friendly and was very professional. He made purchasing a car from out of state simple. I just recently bought a BMW X5 from Logan "Client Advisor." He was so helpful and personable! He explained the whole process inside and out! He knows what it takes to have superior customer service and goes above and beyond that to make sure I had an easy, effortless, luxury experience. I did not know they were locally owned either! Answer is, it depends. We got there at about 3:30pm and left maybe about 8pm. But we got a fair deal. We have tried to go to other dealers, and yeah they make fun of this on the radio but its true. Others dealer tried to sell us a vehicle and forcing us to put 3000 dollars as a down payment. Elder asked us how much we wanted to put down asked how much we could afford a month and they would work with what we had. Very friendly people, and my dad got his new car which is very happy about.

Alex Barnes is a solid sales person: earnest, straight-shooter & very pleasant in all our interactions.
I was comfortable with him from the first meeting and throughout the process found him honest. I recently visited & had the opportunity to purchase a car from a larger dealership in Portland (where we had previously been a customer), but chose to buy from Alex in Bend. Alex offered the appropriate amount of follow-up to stay connected & informative but not stalking. When he was uncertain of answers to questions, he stated that and followed-up. The only comment I would made is that as the car was shipped from another dealership, it would have been fun to know the process. In reality we had struck our deal and timing was set for pick-up so it was not an issue.
