The customer service was excellent and the company was very good at making me feel comfortable with my questions and my thoughts.

Most practical but fun and stylish car I’ve owned

Very fast and comfortable while being surprisingly reliable, good torque and handles well for being 4,900lbs but i would recommend the manual over the automatic as I have owned both and the manual is both more fun and seems to retain its value significantly better than the auto, car also sounds absolutely beautiful with an exhaust system
Sport and sedan at the same time. Leather seats are so good and they don't age at all. Reliable and doesn't cost much to maintain if you keep track of service records. Great vehicle so far
Love It..Its A BMW..What More Can I Say..One Of Class Leaders In Fits & Finishing..Ride..Body Style..How It Grace The Road..Attention From The Start..Worth Every Dollar..
Found this place while surfing for cars on cars.com. Was a long drive there but was well worth it. I am very happy with my new car and it was an easy process. I signed up for autopay so each month they money comes right out of my account so I don't have to worry about making my payment. Always good when there is one less thing to worry about.

kinda cool looking. Looks slow abut isn't. Handles like nothing else on the road but leaks from every seam. Leaves puddles of oil everywhere. BMW certified mechanic told me to plan on pulling motor and trans once a year to redo gaskets. No Excuse!!!!
By far the best place around for buying used cars or having work done. Very friendly, knowledgeable and fair staff, very quick turn around times and very reasonable prices/top quality work.

The car had out-of-state plates and was 2 years out. It had a transmission problem I was not sure about. Steering fluid was low as well as coolant. 111000 MI engine was replaced with a used one having 60,000. Sitting in the back of my buddies car lot for 6 months, a dead battery also. A big dent in the rear door driver side. Really nice aftermarket tires and wheels. After chatting 20 minutes we went back to the car and it fired right up. No check engine light. 9 miles to empty on 6 month old fuel. I'm thinking this doesn't look good. It goes in gear no problem. Let it run for a while and turned it off came back the next week and it started without a jump. I took it for a drive and bought it. $1,800. I figured what the heck the tires and wheels cost more than that. Don't hate me for being so lucky. The tranny problem was a solenoid. And I have no idea why the coolant and steering fluid was low because none of it is leaking. My buddy did me right. But I'm still waiting to see some steering fluid because that stuff doesn't evaporate. Needless to say how could I not be satisfied! The reviews on this car are pretty accurate. I've only had it for about 90 days but I'd say like I said in the beginning, I'd be foolish to not buy it. So I did. And I'm glad I did. Definitely a big step up from a 99 Caravan with a blown head gasket. Right?
Emailed them about a vehicle and they returned with answer within a few days

I have 1988 735i with 133,000 miles, and my 2004 545i show 162,000. This car is fun to drive and it tries to do 0 - 100 if you take your eyes off the meter. I had transmission filter changed and serviced and the regular service and I change the brakes myself. I have pushed my 545I BMW and the car won't die. I think when you drive a BMW hard you help clean the sludge off the valves like a self-cleaning oven. Because the car stands up to the road driving punishment, you have to be prepared to do the repairs without complaining one bit. To me this car is faithful with 162k miles. I had the dealer replace the oil pressure switch, because they leak as they get old. But the switch was under the coolant bottle and I could replace it myself. I could beat myself for giving that simple job out. I love this car, I am only sorry I could buy it sooner like my 1988 735i.
The car met all expectations. Very spacious and roomy for the legs. Solid on the road and smooth drive. Amplified premium sounds. However it has too much power for its size.
My Itasca Navion RV is built on a Dodge-branded 3500 Sprinter chassis, which was included in the recent airbag recall. I live all the way up in Bellingham, Washington, but the local Dodge dealer is awful, in every way. Lithia Chrysler Jeep Dodge has an excellent reputation amongst the owners of this make and model of RVs when it comes to service, so I decided the trip was worth it, as numerous owners complained of how the recall work was botched by various Dodge dealers.
This dealership was excellent from the time I first called, until I drove away with the work completed. I was assigned to service advisor Hayden Connor. He scheduled my appointment, made sure the proper parts were in when I arrived, and was professional, friendly, attentive and reassuring. Other Sprinter owners on the RV chat group have complained that the work took 2 or 3 trips to a dealership, but my work was done within the promised 6 hours. A pleasant shuttle driver provided prompt transportation to and from my mother's house where I visited until the work was completed.
This kind of excellent service is rare, and was well worth the 20 hours of driving from Bellingham to Medford and back.
Highly recommended.

I love tgus car but it cost a body part to fix ! Make sure you keep up on all repairs and oil change or it will cost you in the end. Bought a used one and the last owner did not take car of it in 2k w costs of repairs for it now
Found the car listed online. 70k for less than 10k. Test drove it. The power and handling take your breath away. Purchased Feb 2017. Had trepidation due to the car being a dozen years old so the dealer allowed me to take it to an independent service garage. They went over everything and made their recommendations. Returned to the dealer and they agreed to fix what was advised by the other shop. Several seals and the control arms. They also put brand new all season Yokohama tires on. Had to wait about a week for all the work to be done but am very satisfied with no issues since. When you buy a car like this...you just have to realize that major repairs typically pop up between 90k and 110k and plan accordingly. I've owned a half dozen German luxury cars in my life and it's just part of the gig. Treat these cars right and you will enjoy driving them.
I am so happy to have "discovered" Stephen's Automotive. It was a recommendation from an acquaintance who has been going there for many years. (And I asked a lot of folks in my search!) I got my appointment scheduled when I needed it. I had good communication from the mechanic who did the work. It was wonderful to talk to the person who was actually doing the work instead of a go-between. The $10-a-day rental made this all very convenient and the customer service was just great. Don't know when but I will be back next time I need regular maintenance or more extensive work.

Excellent handling, quick acceleration. Six speed manual transmission is smooth shifting and fun. An independent mechanic (not dealer) and some mechanical aptitude is helpful if purchasing any used BMW out of warranty.

We drove over an hour in heavy traffic to get to BG Motorcars twice and it was worth every mile. The staff are friendly and know their stock, and they had a great understanding of our needs. They gave us space and were never, ever pushy.
When we had decided on a vehicle, it was too late Friday evening for our bank to cut us the financing check, but BG worked with us to make sure we could come back Monday and pick it up, freshly cleaned and ready to go.
I want to emphasize that the experience was easy and happy even for my 3 young and exhausted kids. Anthony, who we dealt with, made sure they had a space to play and gave them coloring sheets with plenty of crayons. Based on the kids' drawings and notes in the office, I'd say the owner's experience as a dad may have shaped the workplace culture here, which is a testament to his character.
This is not your typical dealer. They're not in a superficially flashy building with giant signs everywhere. They've got a bunch of great cars set back from the road and a handful of guys ready to help you find one. It's like humanity and joy found a place in one of the more stressful aspects of human life (buying a car). It's almost like that moment when you're on a road trip and you take a random exit and happen across the best lunch cafe you've ever seen by unexpected Providence.
I will be seeking these guys out again next time I'm in the market for a car. They tell me they may be in a new space soon, and I wish them the best.

I brought this car in 2008 as a CPO vehicle. I have the sports and cold weather packages. Needless to say, I know a lot about this car. Most of what you are reading about the car is true, but I don't have a lot of the issues some people are having. My car is a 6 speed manual, so I don't have any transmission problems. I have a 125000 on the car, and still have the same clutch. Oil leaks. Yep. Sorry to say unavoidable. The repairs can get rather costly, but find a good mechanic you will be able to manage it. Bottom line. I can not find another car that performs anywhere close to my 545. Even the newer BMW's are the same or not as good in some cases, so why spend money for something I already have. I have thought about selling or trading it, but I simply can't do it. So if you are thinking buying this car, make sure oil leaks have been addressed. If you find one in good condition, you will not be disappointed with the performance. Isn't that the reason we drive BMW's anyway?

This was a very well-rounded vehicle for me, ahead of it's time in terms of design, performance capabilities, and creature comforts. Though I wouldn't buy another one solely due to reliability issues ranging from faulty electrical systems to costly engine/drivetrain issues which were very difficult and expensive to resolve even for BMW mechanics.
I've been thinking about how to write this review without making it too long. There is just no way around it. It might be a little long.. I'm a retired senior citizen with a limited budget. My wife and I searched the internet for over two weeks researching the car we wanted in the Charlotte area. We found many but either the price was too high or the miles were. Then we thought we found it at Adams. They had a lot of good photos, we loved the color and it was a top of the line model. It had extras like leather interior, a moon roof, and a 12 speaker sound system with 360 watts of power! (I was a teen in the 70's and that thing can really put out some some great sound!) It also had low mileage and a great detailed carfax. I called to see if it was still there and it was. I told the person on the phone THAT was the car I was interested in and it had to fit my monthly budget. I told them what my monthly payment could not exceed and if I drove there to see it I needed to know it fit my budget. The next morning I got a call telling me they could hit my number and to come on down to see and test drive it. We went down, drove it, and loved it. Of course I just knew they were going to tell me my payment would be either what I told them or a few dollars more. Not only did Jason Dunham (Sales Manager) come in and tell me my payment would be $20.00 BELOW my budgeted number, but also he gave us a 3 year 36,000 mile warranty at no additional cost! Also, our final price included sales tax and licence fees. It was raining when we I got in to drive it home. When I got home I noticed a small "scuff" on the left corner of the rear bumper. My wife said "oh let it go! it's nothing..." After I reviewed the pictures and it wasn't there I called Adams and told them "I know I took possession and took it off the lot and take full responsibility for doing that, but can you do anything?" Well, Jason told me to bring it back and they would look at it. I brought it back and Jason said"of course I will fix that". So I took it back for the repair. Since we have such a unique color car and it is 3 years old they decided if they only pained that corner there may be a problem with a perfect match. Therefore, I had to leave it overnight as they decided to paint the entire bumper! No charge to me! It is a perfect match! I have bought many new and used cars over the years but NO ONE has ever treated me with such respect as Jason, and Henry. If you are looking for a great car for a great price you need to give Adams a try. You will not regret it!
