Over the past 17 years, our extended family and our businesses have leased and purchased a variety of vehicles through Knauz BMW, as well as Knauz Continental and Land Rover Lake Bluff. In our geographic location between Milwaukee, WI, and Chicago, IL, there are multiple luxury dealers from which to choose, but Knauz consistently outperforms the rest in customer satisfaction, vehicle service, and expertise. The dealership is well equipped with a professional and family-friendly customer lounge offering all the comforts of home while you wait for service or shop, and the atmosphere is updated and high-end without feeling pretentious. All department staff are friendly and greet you with a smile, even just in passing. The diversity of the sales staff provides a well-matched personality for any customer looking for an easy and enjoyable shopping experience. At Knauz BMW, the service department is unmatched by any other in the area. They will consistently go above and beyond to make sure that your vehicle is serviced properly and on time, including picking it up and bringing it home for you when you cannot make time in your calendar. Most recently, I had the pleasure of working with Matt Pudlo while considering a 2016 BMW M3. Matt took the time to get to know me personally over several visits and test drives, with no pressure to make a decision. His extensive M Series expertise and infectious enthusiasm for the product supersedes that of any client advisor I've ever worked with at Knauz, and it was ultimately his keen perception and understanding of what I was truly looking for that had me driving (or flying) away in an M3 instead of the 340i I had originally considered. At all phases, including post-purchase, Matt has gone above and beyond to ensure my satisfaction and exceed my expectations, thus solidifying my loyalty as a Knauz customer. Ultimately, the depth of his knowledge and his sheer excitement for what distinguishes a BMW from other brands makes buying a car with Matt a trustworthy, easy, and (above all) fun experience. For my most recent purchase, I also had the pleasure of working with two additional charming professionals, Doug Kamp and Curt Laczniak. Also, Fred Troccoli and Antonio Lopez in service took great care of me while my BMW X5 was in service.

This is a follow up to my review of December 9, 2017. Our 430i Gran Coupe arrived as scheduled a few months after we placed the order and Marek handled the last details of the transaction with his characteristic courtesy and aplomb. Genius Jon then sat with us in the vehicle and explained all of the buttons, switches, etc., as well as the iDrive system and the other on-board electronic wonders available to us. Jon encouraged us to ask questions as he went along and assured us that there was no such thing as a dumb question. Although we did our best to prove him wrong on the last point, Jon answered everything asked of him in a way that was easily understood. He was patient, knowledgeable and thoroughly professional. Because of our positive experience with both Marek and Jon (and Knauz in general) and because we like the 430i so well, we visited Marek about a week after picking up the 430i to place an order for an X3 SAV. Once again, the vehicle we wanted was not on the lot and would have to be ordered and once again, Marek was more than helpful, often going over and above anything that could have been reasonably--or even unreasonably--expected. We are confident that our experience when we take delivery of the X3 will be no less satisfying than our experience with the Gran Coupe.

I had an amazing experience. I flew in to Chicago from out of state. Brian Freeman took the time to drive over an hour to pick me up and bring me back to the dealership. Was super polite and had things all organized and ready to go for a quick transaction for my long ride back home! The car is incredible and gave a very fair deal. Brian followed up with me a few days later just to thank me for my business and to see if I was enjoying my brand new Cadillac. Will be a lifelong customer to the dealership. Highly recommend working with Brian!

MotorWerks Cadillac of Barrington gets 2 thumbs up. That's a pretty rare endorsement coming from me but its definately due :) from my Sales Rep George Lorenzi to the Management who negotiated my trade-in / purchase and the service dept that handled post purchase care; they all excel in customer service and actually deliver on what they say. More importantly they LISTEN. When shopping for our 2015 Cadillac Escalade we were back and forth between Patrick Cadillac and MotorWerks Cadillac and the experience was night and day. MotorWerks listened to what we were looking for and focused on our needs with absolutely no pressure. George knows his Cadillacs, it's features and actually cares about his customers. He totally humanized the experience of big ticket car shopping. On the other hand Patrick Cadillac was totally focused on the sale and when they couldn't fit my needs with drive off lot inventory they tried to convince me out of my color choices and onboard features so I could leave with something then and there. My sales rep called me the weekend after the purchase just to see how things were, then 2 weeks later to ensure we were familiar with all of the cars features yet, and again one month after the sale to see how we're doing and if I received the after purchase items that were promised. George knows how to treat a customer and MotorWerks knows how to assemble a 'team' that cares... Big kudos. After purchase service is HUGE to my wife and I, our last Cadillac was serviced exclusively through Patrick Cadillac. To be honest I never felt comfortable there, they really do the assembly line approach to your service. Maybe I'm being picky but I notice the little things like Patrick service orders / trouble tickets are taken at a standing desk (like at the Airport) so you feel rushed and uncomfortable. No one knows your name so you feel like a barcode as it was a new face each time. Now MotorWerks Cadillac in Barrington seem to have gotten this part right from my recent experience. When we walked into a service appointment they sat us down, assessed the needs, checked the details, and walked us through the process. They asked for feedback on the car and suggested preventative maintenance tips. We were swiftly put in a new Cadillac loaner and off we were. They kept us updated... When we picked it up they checked it out with us until they saw the smile and got the handshake... Now that's service. BTW: We love the free car washes; it really is the small things that matter most :) Update: Was looking to schedule my first oil change so I opted to use the webform on motorwerks.com. After I hit submit someone called me literally 1 minute later and set up a drop off time and loaner car. Still impressed months later with nothing to complain about.
