Mere mortals such as myself, find car acquisition to be as stressful as waiting for one's accountant to determine overdue tax payments. Well, at Park Avenue BMW, my leasing of a BMW was pleasantly stress-free. I attribute the foregoing to having been handled with great patience and without stereotypic "sales pushiness" by Mike Smeraglia, Sales Manager & John Delgado, Sales Consultant. I believe it is important to note, that I leased one of the most inexpensive BMW vehicles. Notwithstanding, I was treated with dignity and respect from the moment I was greeted at the front door. The people at the dealership are very nice. I found that they do not follow through well with customers. When I originally called, I made an appointment to test drive a car. When I arrived the salesman was off and they had no idea I was coming. The new salesman was great in explaining things about the car and made the sale but then did not follow through. The Finance person told me they would call the next day by 12 noon and they didn't call till after I had called twice around 4 pm. They could call and tell me they don't have an answer yet. The salesman also told me they would call in the morning to set up an appointment to fix something on the car I purchased and I have not heard back from them since. Maybe I am being picky but this is a BMW dealership and I expect nothing but excellent service.
Alex was very helpful and helped me find the perfect car for the best price around! He was very friendly and very professional, would highly recommend checking him out at BMW of Freeport.
