They offer mostly European vehicle that are great in shape and function. I found this dealer just on my way from CA to Seattle after not satisfying with CA dealership behavior. The purchase was quick and easy. I normally take my car to pre-purchase inspection before buying any vehicle but this time I didn’t get there since Freeman motors has its own professional shop. Again thanks to Renee and her family and her colleagues.

Reliable and high performance BMW x1 with excellent value for the money. It’s exactly the same as an x3, but smaller cargo space. Easily fits 2 rear passengers.

My i4 eDrive 40 is a great car. Plenty of pep. Comfortable interior. Quality construction. GPS/Radio Controls/various interfaces ... not so good. You have to know what you are looking for, and ofter, go down too many levels to get to the proper input/output. More switches and dials would be better.

Renee was my sales manager, she was very helpful and professional. I enjoyed her time with me about her large family and looking at her pictures on her desk warmed my heart.

This BMW is the most luxurious car for a full sized SUV. BMW has really beaten the competition with the X7. The car drives so smooth but you don’t feel like it’s a very large suv. My wife was extremely impressed with how easy it was to drive! The whole car is so well made and I’ve loved having it. The infotainment system is beyond any car in its class. Great job BMW!

I own a bmw 2011 550i Xdrive M sport package with M Steering wheel, M sport suspension ETc and honestly one of the best car I have ever own and still own. Reliability has been decent on my end but no major issues thankfully. If you well maintain this car like I have and do oil changes around 4.5k you can make this engine last past 200ks miles.

Great for a small/short person. Not comfortable for tall people. Love all the premium features. All leather interior, navigation, heated seats and steering wheel, memory seating. Electric adjustable passenger seat. Not a great sound system though.

Liked the outside design, I got the M package, red calipers etc... Not use to having a gear level, miss my analog gauges In previous 5 . Top of dash grill has a cheap feel, plastic.

I bought a 2021 BMW X5 4.0 with the M Sports Package and this had been one of best vehicles ever owned. The reliability, comfort and curb appeal adds to it value. I traded a 2016 Lexus GX 460 for the X5 and have no regrets!

Have put about 12,000 miles on a used 94ah Rex over the past year. It's a unique little car to be sure, with some substantial upsides and downsides. First the good stuff: It's a fantastic city / mall / school drop off / tight quarters car. Very quick under 50 mph, turning radius of a bike, only a bit larger footprint than a Mini. Just a fun little car to zip around in. The interior fits 4 pretty comfortably, and it's a pretty open, airy feeling despite being so small. Not cramped at all. I really like the styling as well, and it's on the cheap end of cars we've owned over the past 15 years. It's been pretty reliable for the most part, but the Rex does not seem to like to sit for long periods without use. It threw codes several times during the first couple months, all of which cleared and did not immediately recur. I believe it sat at the dealer for many months prior to me purchasing it. After that initial spat of codes, it's worked flawlessly. Range is fine for around town, I would not attempt long distance travel, though you COULD do it. I have always charged it at home, with a level-2 charger I installed myself. Electricity is about 1/4-1/3 the cost of gas under this setup, so it's very efficient. Now the not so good: The rear tires burn up fast, are unique to the car (no other car uses the same tire size), are kind of expensive, and honestly, the traction isn't great. Plan on replacing tires every 12-15k miles, if you make it that far. It's particularly bad in the snow. There's no way to reduce the lift off regen, so it will drag its rear end. You end up left foot braking when it's really slick to make sure you engage the ABS. Do not plan on this being your snow car. The range also goes down significantly in the winter. It'll do >100 miles of around town driving in the summer months, but that's more like 60-70 when it gets cold. Has to run the heat pump, heat the battery, etc. It's only got 4 seats (2 in back). A tiny middle seat probably makes more sense, though it would only be for small children. The BMW connected app subscription is basically a requirement to connect to your utility and get credit for charging off peak (if it's available in your region). It's $120 a year, which is typical German luxury xx. The Odd: The exterior is...different. It sure does attract attention. I guess to each his or her own. Rear suicide doors work pretty well, but they come with a bit of a learning curve. At least people can get in back without front passengers having to get out or bend over. It has a scooter engine, and it sounds like it too! My take: It's a great 3rd car for a family that does a lot of pick up / drop off, grocery-getting, commuting, etc. in a relatively small radius (say 20 miles max, each way). Under that setup, it's very cheap to run, it's fun to drive, it fits everywhere, and it's a nice place to spend time. As the only household car, forget it. As the 2nd car in a 2-car household? Only if you don't spend a ton of time in freezing weather / snow. But in a household where it competes with an M2, an Odyssey and a Cayenne, I put more miles on the i3 than any of the other cars over the past year. So I clearly like the darn thing! Other Recommendation: Get bimmercode app and code on a function that allows you to manually start the Rex at any time the battery is under 75%. Waiting til it hits 6% to turn on automatically isn't going to run it often enough to keep it happy. You don't want to run the battery that empty very often either.

The car I wanted sold 15 minutes before I got there. However this dealership went above and beyond. They had two other similar cars pulled out and waiting for me when I arrived. They also called me when another couple started to look at the car I had made an appointment to test drive, giving me the opportunity to save myself the drive. The staff was very helpful and professional. If they hadn't sold the one I wanted, I would have enjoyed giving them my business. Everything was clean. Staff was very knowledgeable.

STAR AUTO MALL: Worst car dealer EVER! I bought a 2017 BMW X3. They never checked the car! I had problems immediately! I called, emailed & texted... Star Auto Mall would NOT return my calls, texts or emails! I went to BMW dealer, and they found lots of issues! Wires hanging down, tires rubbing, etc. It cost me $480 to fix it! I billed Star Auto Mall, and it looks like they're just chucking me the finger!! AVOID these incompetent thieves! 5-23-2022, MY F-150 HAD AN ISSUE WITH THE ENTIRE ELECTRICAL SYSTEM WENT DOWN, BUT I WAS ABLE TO DRIVE IT. TRACIE GRAGG WENT ABOVE AND BEYOND, DIAGNOSED PROBLEM, ORDERED PARTS AND HAD IT REPAIRED BY 5-27. I WOULD GIVE YOUR GUYS A 10 IF I COULD. I FOUND MY NEW REPAIR GARAGE.

This vehicle was very fun to drive, it is comfortable and sporty, and the handling was excellent. Barely any issues, just overall a great driving experience.

Had a fun experience with getting my car. Brian our salesman helped from the beginning to the end. With everything I wanted in my car. And he took the time to explain all the bells and whistles this car had. ( there were ALOT!)

Our 2022 X5 was a beautiful car to us. Unfortunately it didn't work for us as my wife is handicapped and found it difficult to get in and out of - it's higher than one would expect and came to realize the seats are more inboard than other cars that are direct competitors. The 3 inch door sill was almost like a running board and contributed to her struggles. Even though we had the multi-contour seats, we found the lower cushion seat side bolsters too firm for any drive more than an hour. The seat back was fine. While driving around town and 2 lanes was great, it didn't track as well on the highway as one would expect, even after an alignment (it was off at delivery). Our old Volvos were much better in that regard. The positives include the exterior and interior design/layout, the quality, ride, handling and power. It also still has a few buttons, albeit a bit small when driving. The headlights were awesome and the gas mileage was better than expected, 21 around town and 28+ on the highway. Our situation is unique, and after 7 months we sold the car to a tall, able bodied couple.

It was my old cars time to go (Gloria) at work my coworker brought up CarMax as he just got a new pickup truck from them. My partner and I scheduled an appointment for a viewing Wednesday the 6th. I had to keep adding water to my car so she can take us there. I was nervous as this was my first time purchasing a car. IT WAS THE CAR IVE BEEN WANTING :) and Elijah Combs was our representative. 1. BMW has relinquished transmission service, WHY? They DO NOT make their transmissions and the builder, another German company does and has a full service recommend sheet, with miles and correct fluids, et al. Now that's a load of crap. All transmission need servicing like any part with fluid traveling through it! So when your Trany goes out, you are looking a $4000+ easy, Thanks BMW for that PLANNED OBSELENCE! 2. No dip stick and access to change your oil or the very small oil gasket, NOT THE OIL FILTER, will cost you over $1000 in labor, TO ACCESS and a $14.08 part! 3. Ridiculous depreciation the minute you drive off the lot. I can buy a 2022 X7, retailing north of $95,000 for around. $50,000 and CPO/Certified with around 35-45,000 miles. 4. Very fun to drive, quality feel, twin turbo power I like, the profile is amazing on my 2017 X5. Don't like the body style changes. 5. You pay $65,000 or more and have to pay extra, with one package to get the Harmon Kardon stereo. xxxx, for that much in the price tag I should get the Bowers and Wilkins. 6. 9.5 and 10.5 wheels and tires make it look "mean". But no rotation and you will wear out the front tires in about 25,000 miles. Run flats are harsh and do not last. So, get an "S" model and gain gas mileage, rotate and balance tires and unless you live in a cold climate, the XDrive is a waste of additional sticker shock. of money. 10. The interior colors, mine is brown leather, are nauseating, at best. Orange looking leather, white leather-are you kidding me? And, the old standby Black!

I bought my car three years ago. I am very impressed with the smoothness of the drive, reliability, and features. With over 170,000 miles, primarily maintenance items only. Are dealers in repair shops will try to charge more based on the vehicle, but maintenance is quite easy and inexpensive if you do them yourself. It is important to regularly change the oil and filter every 5000 to 7500 miles to keep it operating smoothly. Only non-maintenance repairs include front CV shafts ($160), Control Arm ($110) and Fuel Pump ($140) which I found videos on YouTube and completed within two hours each. Regular oil and filter changes ($30) take 15 minutes and very easy to access. If you don’t mind doing the work yourself, the car is inexpensive to keep and maintain, gets good gas mileage (28mpg), drives excellent, and looks great.

This is an update from my February 1, 2019 review. I have now owned the vehicle for nearly seven years. I’ve personally driven nearly 20,000 miles in it. The vehicle now has nearly 50,000 miles on the odometer. I purchased it certified pre-owned from a BMW dealership. I have maintained the vehicle to manufacturer specifications. I have only paid for routine maintenance. I have paid for zero repairs. My previous review is confirmed. Full disclosure, two repairs were covered under warranty by the BMW dealership when I purchased the vehicle and one other repair was performed by a different BMW dealership due to their mistake during a routine service.

Out-of-state buyer hunting online for a good deal, found what I needed at VW of Salem. First, the price was a deal. Second, the buying process was mostly painless... Communication with sales was easy by email, text, and a few phone calls. Most of the difficulty was actually on my bank's end. No weird pressure or vibes from sales when I told them I had financing already lined up. Once everything was lined up, they picked me up from Portland airport and took the vehicle for a test drive, then quickly finished up the purchase. Only delay was apparently one detailer working so getting that final complimentary carwash took a while. Will consider buying from them again when it's time to replace the wife's car!

This is my 4th BMW and I find it very reliable very comfortable, safe but fun car. I read here that someone paid $ 2,000.00 for a camshaft position sensor replacement. That’s just so wrong. The OEM sensor max $ 150.00 but you can get a very reliable one -same Hungarian company makes it who makes the OEM- and it could be replaced in 10 minutes. So the diagnoses the part and labor should definitely not be more than $ 500.00. The problem is that most shops are so greedy, they think they can charge insane amounts just because you have a BMW and that means you have lots of money. My mechanic cleaned the camshaft position sensor, put it back and the rough idle was fixed. He charged me $ 80.00 dollars. Very honest person. I bought the part for $ 65.00 just in case I will need to replace it in the future. This car has probably the best engine BMW developed and made, so I will keep this car until it will be feasible.
