I have now been to this facility twice in the last two years (once to get an appraisal for a vehicle I ended up selling myself and now (Sept/2018) for a used vehicle purchase. Both times great, but this most recent was a shockingly easy process throughout with a very good person (Greg Leo) from CarMax.
I had a specific need and the car was in CA (I am in TX) and Greg set up delivery, responded to any request I had, and kept me informed at all times of the stages. When I met him for actual purchase, I was in and out of the process (including a trade in) in 2 hours (prob could have done less but we got along well). This IS the way car buying should be done! Period. Great people, great business model.
I also used CarMax financing with zero issues (excellent credit) and there is no pressure involved whatsoever (it is built into their process).
As an experienced car buyer, I recognized every sales tactic that Daniel employed to get me to the bottom line. He didn't push too hard and figured out quickly how far to push. Making a deal and sticking to it, even though we ultimately went with outside financing, was very important to us.
Benjamin Rollins was our sales advisor and the whole experience couldn't have gone more smoothly. Within minutes he had honed in our idea of what we were looking for. His approach was professional yet easy going without any pressure. Regardless of whether we bought a car at this dealership, he wanted us to have a pleasant experience. I have already told several people I know how enjoyable our experience was.
As always everyone at Sewell was so considerate and professional. I was supplied with a loaner car so we could run some errands while it was being serviced and all was done in a timely manner. I would highly recommended Sewell to all of my friends.
I thought they might wash my car, but they washed and completely vacuumed my car. It was spotless and beautiful. I got much more than I ever expected. The service people were all extremely nice and helpful. Thanks again Sewell staff!
