Just recently purchased a Nissan Kicks at the Independence CarMax, we had previously purchased a Nissan Sentra {about 2 weeks prior) but we found it eventually getting into the vehicle difficult for the age as I am getting older (seventies in my case) the Kicks we have now is a wonderful vehicle. 2019 Camaro SS 1LE M6 is the best bang for the buck so far in my short time owning it. For being considered a "heavy" car, it is incredibly nimble and racy. Smooth when desired. (Notice I flipped those driving preferences!!!) Not a ton of space inside but the car is not meant to be a family daily driver. Although at first the car felt hard to see out of it, really is not that bad at all when you get used to the sight lines. Great fun!

I have a 2018 SS a d I love it. With 455 hp and 455 lb ft through a 6 speed manual and quad exhaust, 8" screen, deluxe instruments, full LED/ HID lighting, spoiler, splitter, diffuser, K&N filter, tinted windows, and a Pioneer TS-WX1210A powered sub it rocks inside and out. Great car.

I’ve always been a huge fan of Camaros. I had been in the market for a couple of years, lo and behold this Camaro became available. From the moment that I saw its sleek style to the first time I sat in the drivers seat that just seems to wrap around me up to when I fired it up and felt the horses run on this powerful V6 engine, I fell in love. This car fits me well. The throttle response is unbelievable. Steering is nothing short of effortless. The exhaust tone gives me a reason to turn off the stereo. As the the commercial from the 70’s says… Try it, you’ll like it!

Owned my Camaro for 10+ years and it’s only ever needed routine maintenance. It’s incredibly quick and handles highway speeds with ease. It gets great fuel efficiency for a muscle car, especially on the highway. Always sounds amazing and is overall a very fun car to drive!

The Salesperson Made an Amazing Car Buying Experience We went to CarMax in Independence to look for a mid-sized SUV with relatively low mileage at a reasonable price, and we found what we were looking for. A 2022 Chevy Equinox with less than 19,000 miles, in great condition and at a price and payment terms that are acceptable and affordable. I have bought a few cars in the past and I always went to “traditional” dealerships to purchase them. This was my first experience with CarMax and I can honestly say that I was blown away by the relaxing and laid back, yes I said relaxing and laid back, car buying experience! No sales pressure, no haggling over price, just a straight up purchase with no hidden or confusing terms or agreements. Everything was laid out on the table. Plain and simple. The salesperson, Austin Hubbard, was a pleasure to work with. We were facing a very difficult personal situation that could have easily made the car buying experience extremely challenging and stressful. Super v8 performance with the 6 speed manual. Great looking, and lot's of fun with the top down. Recommend to anyone at any age. Surprisingly comfortable on the road. Not great visibility with the top up and very little o back seat room or trunk room, but it's pretty easy to overlook those minor details. Would recommend everyone get the dual mode exhaust feature - you can change sound from sport (sounds like a race car) to touring (sounds like a buick v6). Took forever to get my 2023 (2022 order got canceled), but it was worth the wait. You'll get a lot of car for the price.

The car to this point has been a good running vehicle. However i am not thrilled about the run flat tires, no jack or spare and the absense of a catch can for the direct port injection 6.2 engine. Chevy could have done better,

This is a muscle car 320 hp on a V6 you feel it. People admire it, I admire it’s a pleasure to drive it. Down side the original Radio is junk does work, I like the look and design but from 2010 to 2015 radio doesn’t work. It seems like you may need to add ground cable. I prefer to keep the radio original than switch it for one that works. Other than that it’s a great car for the money!

2SS Convertible in white with black stripes. This is my second camaro and wow! What an upgrade! It might not be practical for a daily driver, but I'm all about fun over convenience! Very powerful! Very stylish! This car never gets old to drive! Top up or down!

At the time of writing this review up it has been an amazing vehicle to drive every day for close to 13 years now. Pros: - Most powerful and quickest of the "Big 3's pony cars" for the year of 2010. - If you want to drop a camshaft in this car the heads do not have to come off of the 6-speed manual LS3. Easy to make ~500 RWHP on pump gas. - The Canadians build this thing right and I have never had structural, engine, transmission or body issues. - Has a backseat; Corvette does not. Cons: -Rubber pieces of the interior wear away too easily over time. -Horrible visibility that hasn't been improved even in current year-model Camaros at the time of this review. -I have had to replace the air conditioning system twice, each time costing over $2000 at a dealership.

All in all it has been a great car and I have owned it since 11K, now almost 200K. Winter stored so no rust, I have driven it like a sports car and it has never let me down. 3 issues over 18 years. #1 was drivers side window motor (EZ replacement) #2. I've blown both front speakers, #3. One bearing let go in the rear end. It still has all the original bulbs even and only the second set of brakes, original clutch, exhaust still looks new underneath (about 8 sets of tires though). It is a pewter, 6 speed LS1 SS model Convertible and a rare sight. I've never seen one like it.

There was so much to like about this car but it sat kind of low and it was only a two door so it wasn't going to meet my needs. I loved the 6 speed manual transmission but decided to purchase a brand new 4 door sedan.

CarMax is nice except that they do the "No-Haggle Price" thing, which is lame. It was nice though and the man who helped me test drive the car I'm looking at was really nice.

I've only had my 2020 Camaro SS 6 spd manual for about a month and I love it. I purchased it with very low mileage. I'm convinced the SS was made for me and that with all I have been through lately it was a well deserved way to end 2022.
