Salesman was friendly and personable. Took a couple test drives. Service was very quick. Once I decided I wanted to buy it, I was on the road in my Mustang in less than 30 minutes. The sticker price was pretty much their lowest so not a lot of room to haggle, but I did get them to round down to the nearest thousand.
I just bought a beautiful 1996 Chevrolet Camaro Z28. I am totally blown away by Rich the owner Jim the finance guy. These people are the best car people I’ve ever dealt with. The car is spectacular. I am a classic car senior guy. The car had 4600 original miles. I flew up From Long Island NY. The owner Rich picked me up at the airport, drove me to the dealership. Just found my second van at Acord Auto. Got my first Honda Odyssey at Acord and, when it was totaled in an accident, I went back for seconds. Acord quickly found a replacement, had it detailed and made minor repairs, waited patiently while financing arranged. I an so pleased we discovered this great dealer. Zach and the crew are amazing.
The Chevrolet Silverado was our third vehicle purchased from Charlie's family of dealerships. Our only regret is that we didn't find Charlie's sooner! Mike Poulin, our Salesperson was great listening to our needs and finding the right truck. He was right there with follow-up, but not too much. Tom Towle, the General Sales Manager was also very helpful and made us feel like family. Eric Lindholm, the Sales Manager made the closing easy. He said he had been at the dealership many years and it showed! The whole experience from start to finish was a pleasure. We'll be back!
I was signed right in on arrival. My truck was brought out back to have the engine code read. The service writer brought the report out to me along with a spark plug showing it was worn and due for replacement. He also recommended replacing the coolant. He said the coolant was rated cold enough and was good enough for now if I wanted to wait on changing it. I had the plugs and oil service done and I was on my way. The amount of time there may have been a little long but not unreasonable.
Jed was friendly, informative, and not pushy. Charlie's offered a great price on the used vehicle. I would recommend emailing Charlie's or calling, they were able to make an offer well below the website listed price.
I needed to replace my older truck and after shopping around, I found Emerson here in Auburn. Being new to the area, I wanted to stay local if I could find the right deal. My wife and I went in and met with Brian Dennis. They stayed late to help us and after trying out several trucks and narrowing things down, we found the truck I wanted. The finance dept. worked and found us a good lender for our deal. I drove out with a truck I never thought I could get but they made it affordable and the price right. I got a truck much nicer than I anticipated and I couldn't be happier. The service dept. set up the truck nicely, and made sure I was satisfied. We found the salesman, Mike Poulin, to be very pleasant, helpful, knowledgeable, and attentive. The negotiating process for a lease versus buy was new for us. As it evolved, we became less satisfied with the lease option, and chose to go with the traditional purchase of the vehicle. The process of determining the trade value was the same process that we have dealt with for several decades with numerous dealers.
