The salesman, Mr. Micheal Williams was excellent in finding what I wanted in a Used Subaru. He was very patient and was able to find what I was looking for. He over did himself by looking up items, bringing cars for me to try, explaining the details of the car and what it had to offer. I came back twice to him to know that he would find what I was looking for. The only negative experience with the dealership was when the managers would talk down to him, for something he didn't do. Otherwise they did work with me with their prices and wanted to make sure I was pleased.
If you are in the market for a used car at a great price, make this place your first stop. For me, the price of the car was not the reason I purchase a car here, it was the fact that the mileage was low and the car still carries some of the factory powertrain warranty. Aside from a few minor cosmetic chips and scratches, which I buffed out easily, the car looks brand new. Another plus is the fact that Hertz does a great job if maintaining their fleet, so you know that machanically the cars they sell are road ready.
I must say my buying experience at Automax Killeen was great one to remember. Niki on sales team was super friendly and very knowledgeable. She was able to answer all my questions on the spot. Will from financing was friendly and found a competitive rate in a timely manner. I would recommend this dealership to friends searching for a new/used vehicle.
I had a pleasant experience with the service department on my vehicle with The Works special, an oil change, tire rotation, brake inspection, belt inspection, and a wash. My advisor was Frankie Garcia . He was very courteous and helpful, going above and beyond the normal. A great help to me.
Believe it or not, it's been 16 years since my husband and I purchased a brand new vehicle! Needless to say, all the modern bells and whistles were more than just a little overwhelming. Felicia was very patient about answering our many questions and did not pressure us when we told her we had to go home and think about our decision. Brian was also very nice when we returned to actually purchase the vehicle. One thing I was slightly dissatisfied with was I feel that we were rushed through the delivery process as we were the last customers of the day. Overall it was a good experience.

I was looking to get into a cheaper payment and be able to have room for car seats. Jeremy and Courtney helped me and found a journey and I even picked the color and features. They were great on getting what I "thought" I wanted. The next day I let Jeremy know that I was not happy with the car due to it was too small and missing features that I didn't think about before. Two days after that, Friday, I let him know again how extremely UNHAPPY I was with this car and that I wanted back in a truck. I was told that there was not anything that could be done and I would need to drive it for a year or so and then trade it in. Saturday, I spoke with Courtney and told him I wanted a truck and that my daughter could trade her car in for the journey and I was aware that my payments would not be as low as we got them. On Monday, I was told that nothing could be done until the title work is done, which is 2 more weeks. So then, I will have been miserable in this car for 3 weeks, putting miles on it and lowering the value of what they can give me as trade. I do not feel that they have done all that can be done, especially for a loyal customer, as myself. This is the 4th purchase that I have made from this dealership and it is probably the final purchase my family will make there! I already have another dealership working on getting me in a truck and my daughter in the journey. It's a shame that Stanley Dodge could not make sure I was 100% satisfied after the sale! I do not recommend a dodge journey for anyone with car seats!!
I have dealt with Tranum for years. I was approved in August didn't purchase then and returned back in October. My information was still active and I was approved. I was on a time crunch and Dan stepped up his game. I walked in that morning and before lunch drove off with my 2017 VW Passat! He was very fast with getting information on vehicles I was interested in. I was able to test drive and the team worked quickly. If you have dealt with Dan you are dealing with good people.
In 12 years we have bought 6 new or used cars in our area. Each time we've shopped @ Hoffpauir (to keep our $ local) and each time we have left the dealership (after conversations over several days) without any reasonable deal and feeling entirely unappreciated.
