On my fourth equinox never, I say never a problem with any of them. Outstanding value for this size car. Current 2019 has 81,000 on it and 0 problems! Change your oil and rotate your tires when you are supposed to stupid!

Alex was a pleasure to work with throughout the process. When I expressed my concerns about covid he kindly agreed to wear a mask and arranged for the process to be conducted outdoors as much as possible. He also expedited the sale process because he understood that I needed to drive the vehicle back to the SF Bay Area that day. Love my Equinox. I have always been a sedan person so this was my first adventure with a larger vehicle. I love the roomy inside. Comfortable for all passengers. Heated seats are awesome. Wish they had the same design as the Silverado where you could turn on just the back and not the whole seat. Decided to buy out my lease while the interest rates were low and cars were scarce and I don't regret my decision. Wish it had a little more power on quick take offs.

Our sales rep Isaiah was awesome across the board. Very responsive, friendly and NOT pushy which can be make or break for me. My only complaint is the time it took to finally get to the Finance dept and complete the paperwork. We planned to buy the car that morning, arrived at 5:30pm and didn't get out of there until after 9. I would definitely buy a car from Hertz again though.

We looked at quite a few vehicles before buying a 21 Equinox Premier. Love the newer body style it rides great, very quiet and smooth. The car had Hankook tires on it, I replaced them with Michelin tires. The car has so much power even with a small engine 1.5L I guess the turbo is doing it’s job. The car has so many nice features for the price, heated and cooled seats work great, it also came with all weather floor mats as well as carpeted mats. My wife drives the car as her daily driver and she loves it and all the features it has. It’s worth a test drive.

After I bought used 2018 Equinox I discovered it did not have back up alarm. Hate not having it. Also the back up camera display on dash sometimes cannot see as it has a glare. My 2012 Kia Sorento had back up camera on rear view miirror, like that better. Like electric driver's seat to lower and move back, easier to get out of. Plenty of room although trunk area is smaller than Sorento.

Dec. 13, 2018. Let's start at the beginning. I am a senior Citizen in Loma Linda by Redlands. About a month ago I went to a local Honda dealer ( no name here.) On the quotation the salesman added a $2,500 Maintenance agreement and $900.00 gap insurance without telling me about it, I walked out. On Dec. 12, 2018 I walked into the Hertz sales at 7750 Indiana Ave. In Riverside, Ca. I spoke to Mr. Chris Knighton and asked him if he had a Chevy Impala. He directed me to one on the lot which was a Gorgeous Metallic dark blue, exactly what my wife and I wanted. It was loaded with every electronic device know to mankind. The dash lit up like a Boeing 787 Dream liner. The price was five to seven thousand dollars less than any other dealers in the area. He did not load up the contract with extras. He EXPLAINED AND ASKED ME if I wanted any extra warranty and gap insurance. After I spent time looking at the Math. I agreed and added the extras. My credit score was 761 so they beat my military credit union's interest rate. Amazing. Mr. Rizwan Azam the financial man gave me an awesome deal and my wife and I are very pleased with our purchase. He was kind and gracious with me and answered any question I had in a professional manner. Honesty is expected. These men along with the man in the back room who drew up the contract were helpful, professional, friendly and took every opportunity to set me up with the car of are dreams. The Impala is the car that my wife and I wanted. Not a sports car as so many young people want, that jostle and bounce around and make every pebble on the road feel like a big rock. We wanted the smooth ride and we got it. I believe from my many years of teaching and simply living life that those complainers want everybody to baby them and provide snacks and a big fancy waiting room like a big car dealership. Remember folks, those big million dollar dealership buildings are paid for my you the buying public who will pay one hundred fifty dollars for an oil change and buy super retail. Hertz is selling you a car at a slim margin. Give them a break. They are a great outfit. Mr. Knighton and Mr. Azam and the contract's man in the rear made me feel like a family member. Mr. Knighton's personality was such that I truly call him my friend. These people were honest beyond reproach. I would highly recommend anybody to buy a car from them. Of course one has to check out ANY car before buying. They certainly did a great job on their inspection. Remember, people abuse rental cars. Busy dealership took a while to get everything done but left happy with a new car.

I purchased this vehicle sight unseen, used. I test drove an identical vehicle and loved it. My Equinox far exceeded my expectations! So far in the nearly 2/3 years of ownership, I continue to average 34 mpg, I couldn't be happier! Goes through the snow like a trooper and handles very well on icy roads. I do not like the auto stop/start, there is a hesitation and could pose a problem, no one will disconnect it for me! I am having a fuel problem! Very frightening, no one seems to find the problem!!! You can smell raw gasoline while: starting, idling at a stop sign, driving down the road and even after shutting the vehicle off - very frightening - no one can find the problem but they can sure smell the gasoline! It's frightening enough that I've removed my husband's oxygen tanks from the back and we no longer wear seat belts for a just in case moment. Since the gasoline smell the vehicle has become hard to start. Other than the gasoline smell/leak & auto stop/start the vehicle is perfect!

I have a 2020 Premier with the redline package and 2.0 engine, I bought it in November 2019 and it now has 27,000 miles, no problems so far.

Only had the Equinox for about a month but my favorites so far are the adaptive cruise and heated steering wheel. Also like the all around cameras for backing up, and heated lumbar passenger seat. Great vehicle!! Kevin at Red Wing Chevrolet was great in helping us purchase this vehicle.

Had it 4 years. Everything o k but back breakes seem to need to be changed and i only have 16,000 km. Does g.m. have a recall for that?

I love this car. I have the LTZ w/ sunroof and no leaks. It’s crossover design to SUV is just big enough to take the kids but not huge like a regular SUV. I haven’t had any major repairs on the car but normal wear and tear. Oil changes, new tires.. no rust either. I have put over 100,000 miles on it, been in a pretty deep ditch during heavy snowfall and didn’t roll or tip over. They towed it out and we drove away. No damage. Iowa salts their roads all the time! Weather changes on a dime. This vehicle is so reliable, we bought a second one for the kid. Do yourself a favor and get one. You won’t be disappointed.

I was all set to buy an Escape when a friend recommended looking at the Equinox. I'm glad I did! I got the Reserve model and for less money than I would have spent on the Escape, I got everything I wanted plus a comfortable, good looking, AWD vehicle. I haven't had a Chevy since the mid 1980s and if you are in this same boat, they are worth a look. The heated seats and steering wheel are great, climate controls are NOT contained in the screen, and it does NOT have Adaptive Cruise Control (I can't be the only one who doesn't like that!). I have only driven it around town and am averaging about 25mpg, which isn't bad. The only option I got was the Red Line package, which adds a bit of "cool" to the car. I have only had the car a month, but based on the other reviews, I look forward to enjoying it for many years.

This is the third Equinox that I have leased. Had a 2015, 2018 and now a 2021. Great vehicle. I love it. Best decision I ever made.

Rides pretty good. Seats 5 comfortable. Gas mileage is horrible. I get under 20😥 Mostly interstate and highway miles. Back hitch cover would never stay on. Brought granddaughter same car - same problems.

Easy fast and economic it took me 2 hours to get my oil change and my car left much cleaner than when I came in. They were able to find out what was going on with my tires and fixed the sensor I didn't even know I was covered. Thank goodness my advisor checked to save me some extra cash. Perfect for the holidays.

So i went in already knowing what i wanted. Had my appointment already made and he was there waiting for me no issues. It was kind of strange to me how he didn’t know where the vehicles were so we had to go look for it. We walked for a bit then got into another vehicle to search for the vehicle. I think the lot and vehicle locations should be better situated. The buying process was easy and smooth. When the car was purchased i was waiting for a final cleaning and check of the car. This took forever. When i finally got the car. The inside of the windows were still dirty you can see the finger prints and the rear emblem had some chemical in it that oxidized the emblem. It took them a long time to seem like nothing had been done properly. I did appreciate the person helloing me to keep checking on me and letting me know the status instead of leaving me. The clean process and check process of the car needs to be better managed. It shouldn’t take that long for a half xxx job.

No one sent me Recalls and starting to have Oil / Gas burning problems AS WELL AS DUMMY LIGHTS IRREGULAR LITINGS & CHECK AIR BAGS!! YOU CHARGE TOO MUCH FOR BASIC CHECK UPS...

Who knew Selman Chevrolet had a collision dept for my Acura. When my insurance company told me about them and the fact that they could do an estimate on site, I was still concerned that they could not match the color for my "Bisque Red Pear" Acura. But they could and they did. I was given a loaner car at no charge, and they not only repaired the damage to the fender and headlight, the also took care of a couple of "parking lot" dings, at no additional charge to me. My contact at Selman was Bob Bessett, and he kept me up on their progress and got my car back to me earlier than promised. I appreciate AAA's handling of this claim and telling me about Selman. It will be my go to dealer for any future repairs.

After getting the run around from multiple dealerships in LA/OC/IE I visited Auto Republic. Yes, I had my guard up after all the financing and heavy down payments other dealerships we're asking for before even giving me attention. The showroom was clean and the lot had so many dream cars. I found the perfect car for my family and had the assistance from the manager that was top notch. I'm writing this review since the single star reviews show the lack of reading details about add on features. Don't get upset with a dealership for having tracking on a car (saves on insurance) along with other key options that are great for your next car. I've referred family and friends, all had exceptional purchasing experiences and I'll get my next vehicle here as well.
